I have had to pay $250 dollars in the last 2 months. Before I started seeing Patrick Whitfield, I only paid $40 in almost 2 years. My insurance hasn't changed from the time I started using Lifestance... See more

Arturo is a wonderful therapist. He has helped me with the various issues that I have had and offers insightful thoughts and advice. I always feel that he truly listens to me. I feel very fortunate that he is my therapist.

I’ve had a really positive experience with LifeStance Health. The scheduling process was easy, the staff was responsive, and my therapist has been incredibly supportive and professional. I appreciate how comfortable and welcoming the environment feels, which made it much easier to open up and focus on my mental health. I also like that they offer both in-person and telehealth options, which makes appointments much more convenient. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care I’ve received and would definitely recommend LifeStance to anyone looking for quality therapy services.

Dr. Merritt is wonderful. She is compassionate and a great listener. You can tell she’s not just checking boxes and giving generic responses as solutions. Rather she thinks critically to give the most effective solutions to fit the needs of the patient.

Can't get any lower. These crooks charged me for a telehealth appointment that had no sound. The provider lied and claimed there was an session. I fought this tooth and nail for more than a year. They let it go long enough that I thought it had been resolved. SURPRISE! It went to collections. These charlatans aren't worth my credit score. I am however going to report them to Medicare for fraud. This has been going on since 10/2024

It's difficult to reach someone at the office during business hours. After seeing the same provider for 1-1/2 years, I needed to reschedule an appointment due to a mandatory work event. My appointment was scheduled for Friday. Appointments cannot be canceled or rescheduled thru the patient portal, you have to call. I attempted to contact the office on Wednesday to reschedule, after 30 min, I had to abandon the call. I called back on Thursday and was on hold for 20 min. Finally got someone on the phone and was told I'd be charged $100 for rescheduling in less than 48 hours. I let them know that this was the first time I've rescheduled an appointment but that my provider had no call, no showed an appointment with me & the provider scheduled to make up that appointment was an hour late and I wasn't compensated for my time. I also explained that I tried calling the day before (within the 48 hour guideline) and couldn't get thru. The office stated the charge is automatic and can't be overridden. I've moved on to a new provider that's more accessible.
Update - received a text message that my card on file would be billed for the cancellation fee. I spoke with Wanda in billing to inform her that I was revoking authorization to bill my card. She stated "I didn't send that message" and offered no solution. To which I told her someone from LifeStance sent the message and I need to speak with someone to ensure they are clear that authorization to bill has been revoked. She then said she could remove the card on file so it wouldn't be billed. I stayed on the line while she allegedly removed card information. Only to go into my account hours later and see the pending charge. And of course I've been on hold for over 10 minutes just to wait to speak to someone who will likely transfer me to someone else.
It's really shameful that this place is meant to help with mental health issues yet causes so much unnecessary stress.

My experience with LifeStance was deeply troubling and I cannot recommend their services.
My therapist was inappropriate during what should have been a safe and supportive space for me. While I was particularly vulnerable, he made a threatening comment during one session, and he was overly harsh and defensive in another where I was upset. When I communicated about these two instances, he did not acknowledge or apologize at all.
I had also a very poor experience with my psychiatrist that worked at LifeStance. She also too dismissed my illness by saying it ‘was all in my head’ which is a very harmful clinical response coming directly from someone who is supposed to work in mental health care. There was no accountability taken by this psychiatrist when I brought this to her attention just like with the therapist I worked with.
Mental health care requires trust, compassion, and professionalism. My providers at LifeStance demonstrated none of these qualities.

They are the best for my mental health and I would recommend them to everyone listen to me and now I also see a therapist who is helping me through the loss of my daughter

Ellen is a remarkable therapist/doctor… She truly listens and responds with wise counsel and understanding… She helps me to be able to have a full life…instead of being paralyzed by anxiety…

Easy to make appointments and nice facility with plenty of parking. Therapist ok but I’m not sure we are really clicking/connecting

This is a great company to put your care in. From the front office, the people who book your appointment; and most of all; the therapists. In this seeming empathy deprived world, I personally have had a special connection; here in these offices.

The staff was mostly caring and treated me with respect. They made sure I was taken care of whether it was meds, personal hygiene products or food/snacks. I enjoyed the groups and they were helpful. I wish I could remember names bc I had some really caring nurses.
The only complaint I have is the room situation was frustrating. I was woke up in the middle of the night twice asking me to switch beds. When I woke up after being moved, I realized my expensive warm insulted socks were missing. They were never found. Being moved when your half asleep is not okay. I was in there for mental health so I good nights sleep was pertinent in my healing.

I do not recommend! Just another soulless corporate entity trying to squeeze whatever they can out of you. I jumped through so many hoops and appointments in order to get medication. Annoyingly, you have to pay for your appt before you can get in to the virtual waiting room, so if your doctor does not show up, you have to ask for a refund. I was promised one, only to see that it never happened and had to go thru my cc company. Long hold times on call lines that are constantly changing. The portal is always broken. Terrible experience.
