This is really and truly my favorite shop in town. I may not stop in as often as I would like, but the owner never fails to remember my name. If you're in need of quality gear, Lifeview Outdoors is definitely the place to find it-

Knowledgable staff & quality products make them a much better outdoor store than your big chain stores! The employees actually use the products they sale & can lead you in the direction you need to go when looking for high quality gear.

I was looking for a camp knife when I found a link to LVO, and their Mora knife offerings! LVO had a great selection of different styles of Mora knives. Great prices too!

My brother recommended your store as he, my son, and nephew have shopped there several times. I was able to find what I needed in a hiking pant and raincoat for a four-day backpacking trip and the apparel did the job well all four days. There were very few women's outdoor clothing choices however, so I was lucky to find what I needed in terms of functionality. Men will have a very large selection. I will shop there again, especially for non-apparel hiking and backpacking gear.

Quality products, quality service.

I like the brand names that Mike keeps in stock.. I shop mostly for all kinds of backpacking gear, footwear, apparel and anything that turns on and lights up! Also a great, regular, clearance table with some good finds. Pelican and Craghopper are two quality brands that are sometimes hard to find at other gear shops, but Mike stocks plenty of both at good prices. Keep it up!

I really hope it was just an off day or sometihng.

I'd been in the store a couple times and checked things out, but the other day I went in to grab a couple tumblers but I didn't know which brand yet and I knew LVO had the three brands I was interested in purchasing. Customer service in-store was great. Two employees helped me make a final decision as I was torn between Pelican and Hydroflask. I went with two different sized Pelicans and checked out. Left a happy customer.

Later on that evening I checked my receipt and turns out I was charged for two 32 oz tumblers instead of a 22 and 32oz. I call the store up and tell them the situation hoping we could resolve over the phone. Thankfully they remembered me and could fix it. The man on the phone set up a return and then charged my card for the proper amount. Great! I've worked retail; I know accidents happen. No big deal. Still a satisfied customer. But then once everything's taken care of and I thank him for resolving the issue, I just get silence over the phone. Eventually he musters an "um... ok bye."

No apology or anything. Not even a proper ending to a business-oriented phone call.

That really just rubbed me the wrong way. It showed me how this employee viewed situations like this with customers, and is why I started my review by saying "I really hope it was just an off day." I have friends who shop here as well and love the store, so I really think it was.

I'll probably be back, but I'll be checking my receipts before I leave to avoid any other problems.
