This is a really well made floor lamp base. Chunky yet stylish and looks incredible. The Alum Lilly design shade sets it off perfectly. I absolutely love this. Am seriously considering buying another... See more

Absolutely disgraceful company!
Absolutely disgraceful company!! Do not spend any of your money with these! I received a completely smashed light fitting, they then send me out the replacement glass to fit myself, which was impossible, so then the glass and the fitting had to be sent back to them for them to fit, then that pendant also arrived completely smashed chips taken out of the metal where they have rammed it in. And not only this I also returned two other light fittings for a refund, once they received the items back in exactly the same condition they arrived I was then told because I had written ‘fragile’ on the boxes that my money can not be returned to me cause I have written on the boxes!! The light fittings are for sale not outter packing! So I am now in more of a dispute trying to get my money back and now I am still stuck with a smashed and broken light fitting! Do not go anywhere near this company! Absolutely disgraceful! Hundreds of pounds of my hard earned money just gone by looks of it, trading standards are being contacted it’s an absolute disgrace!!
Would Not Buy From Again!
I placed an order on the 29th October for a table lamp and my order was dispatched on the 31st October. And this is where the problem's begin... On the 1st November I received an e-mail from despatchbay.com telling me that my parcel had been delivered and signed for by someone called Josh. This was news to me so I contacted the retailer and explained the situation to them and they said that they would look into this matter for me. They contacted despatchbay who in turn contacted Yodel, yes despatchbay subcontracted the work to Yodel. Anyway long story short I received another e-mail from lightinguk stating that my parcel had been delivered and they provided the GPS from the delivery van as "proof" I pointed out that this was all good and well but I still have not received my parcel. So they contacted Yodel again who interviewed there driver, who lied through his teeth and gave a false description of me and said that he had handed the parcel over to me personally and I signed for the package, another lie!!! Again I wrote back to lightinguk and told them this. So they forwarded a declaration form from Yodel to me that I had to sign, stating that I never received my goods which I filled out and e-mailed back to lightinguk. That was on the 6th November and I still haven't received any more news in regards to this situation and it's now the 25th November. Lightinguk seem content to just let this matter rest. Definitely would not recommend to anyone! Or at the very least not till they change there courier of choice. Only good thing I can say about lightinguk is they respond to there e-mails quickly.
I received an e-mail from lightinguk on the 9th of November telling me that they had received the paperwork I e-mailed back to them and that they would be in touch again shortly. By the 27th November I still hadn't heard anything so contacted them again and was basically told they weren't interested in looking into this matter any further. They have a fake signature from the delivery driver himself and a description of my front garden and that's good enough apparently. Basically I've been called a liar! This is the type of customer service you can expect from this company. I would strongly advise anyone to take there hard earned money elsewhere.
