I highly recommend this web host. I have been with them for several years. They are experts at what they do; they provide extraordinarily fast service whern something goes awry; and they are very corteous. They have saved me many times from disasters, which I caused. There really is no need to look any further.

I have used many of the big name hosts and again and again been frustrated with the low quality support that they offer. Chris and his team are different. They genuinely value their clients and I can not recommend them highly enough.

I hate to say this but I changed to a cheaper host. Gatorhost to save money and it cost me more in the long run due to issues of spamming my emails not going through which detrimentally affected my business significantly.
I ended up going back to lightning base with my tail between my legs who I've been with for about 10 years.

Chris is really awesome. The staff there instantly on to solving your issues. If you have any even simple things such as changing name service for those of us that aren't that tech savvy they've set up a a couple of WordPress sites for me and I wouldn't go with anybody else now after learning the hard way.

Lightningbase offers a high quality, reliable Wordpress hosting service. Support is quick and helpful, and issues are resolved quickly.

The behind the scenes options are stripped back and to-the-point. This makes it easy to navigate through options, but some people may find this too old fashioned. There is no built in ready-to-use staging environment for example, which needs to be constructed and deconstructed manually.

For those interested, my plan with them runs on a shared Google Cloud Platform server, and has had almost no downtime at all in two years.

Best SMB-level WordPress managed host out there.

I don't know why this host is so unknown. I had to move to a larger, enterprise-level host a while back, but this is the host I refer most clients running WordPress to. No wasteful bells and whistles, just fast and reliable.
