Terrible company, do not use. Products coming from China, they take forever to get here! Use other light companies. Shocking service

Scam. Bought a lamp. Wanted to return it. On each email to return it they kept asking me if I would keep it if I was refunded x percent. I rejected the offer and asked for the address to ship it back. Shipped it one month ago and still have not received any return money!

We were searching for a specific lamp, and this website had the exact pictures from the manufacturer’s website. After ordering and seeing the package shipped from china and checking other reviews, we realised it was an expensive fake. The support at Lightzey pushed hard for us to accept the delivery first so that they could then begin working on a return, but never gave any specific confirmation that they would refund the full amount, and then started only responding with the exact same message copy and pasted. Luckily PayPal were helpful through the claim, told us to reject the delivery and managed to get all the money returned.

Awful experience. Don’t buy anything from this Company! Very low quality products shipped from China. The return process was a complete nightmare as they were not willing to respond at all to the request. Reimbursement was again a nightmare as lawyer advice was required to get them to respond.

Same as most negative reviews here. Still waiting for my lamp to arrive… Lightzey doesn’t want to make a refund as it has been already shipped… is still at the customs (from 12.12.23.-23.1.2024) to this day. Probably because of not certified materials… never again! Not transparent that it will be shipped from China and how long it would take. Do not buy into the perfect images on their website. Unreliable unserious company from China.

I strongly advise against patronizing this shop. Firstly, the light bar I ordered not only demonstrated an unacceptably low quality but also posed safety concerns, as it lacked CE certification. The extended shipping time, attributed to dispatching from China, further adds to the dissatisfaction. To compound matters, the imposition of a 10% restocking fee on returns is not only disconcerting but also against the law in Germany. I explicitly informed them of this, emphasizing that such fees are illegal regardless of their presence in the store's terms of condition. This has undeniably been the most unsatisfactory shopping experience, and I wholeheartedly caution others to exercise prudence and seek alternatives elsewhere.

I received a broken lamp. I reported this. They responded asking if it is okay to send another one again. I said yes but preferred a refund. I did this twice. No response or no travkijg info after I respond to them. Now 120+Euros went to nothing

Terrible quality. Offering 10% of the value for return of items. Shipping takes 5 weeks from china. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered two lamps. They are very low quality vs price.
I wanted to send back and take money back but still not possible waiting since 10 days.

Is misleading. Ships from China, Terrible return policy. Be aware and do yourself the favor of not buying from this company.
Furchtbar! Kommt aus China, was nicht transparent kommuniziert wird. Rückgabe ist mit hohen Kosten verbunden. Lightzey ist nicht empfehlenswert.

I wish I would have researched the reviews before making a purchase here as I can only confirm that I had a similar experience.

The light I purchased arrived directly from China and did not appear as the picture (poor quality). I discussed back and forth with the customer service to return the light (unfortunately they only respond every three to four days) with repetitive questions which do not move the inquiry further. They offered to provide a 20% discount instead of taking the product back (which you would need to pay for). The issue is still not solved, and I am losing hope that it will be.

I can only recommend to stay far away from this company!

HANDS-OFF! Overrated prices, extra poor quality. Bought there due to good fotos .send everything back (own costs!) They wanted fotos of the goods before hand to make the process complicated..i rejected. caution: they are trying to keep 10% of the price as rescheduling costs.( Illegal in Germany) I gonna give this to a lawyer.

I ordered a "crystal" hanging lamp which took about 3 weeks to arrive as to my surprise it was being shipped from China. Upon arrival the product was clearly plastic and looked extremely cheap. Judging by the other reviews I am now concerned about getting my money back. I have reached out to customer service.. let's see what happens. I would strongly recommend avoiding.

Update 18.10.23 - The company are insisting on me sending pictures to assess whether I will get a refund. Pictures of what? I simply don't want the product as it is cheap and not crystal as originally advertised.

Awful customer service, terrible cheap lamp that was sent from China! Still trying to send it back. How is this company still allowed to operate in Europe?!

Absolutely awful. They lights are different sizes have tried to contact the company no response at all to my 10 emails. Do not use this company at any cost you will be disappointed

Scam, received my pendant light, opened the box, and found a letter from previous customer that the item was faulty, the email chain between the customer and theLightzey was printed and was in the box. Immediately contacted the seller and explained the issue. The response was they will not return the item and insist the item it is not faulty. After several emails they accepted to return the item. I returned the item with Royall mail special delivery (paid £13 for it) and has a picture shows that the item was delivered and signed at the door (return address is a house in Sheffield). Unfortunately, I have not had any refund and stopped answering my emails. Lost money twice now, for the light and the post.
Please have a look at the reviews on their website, there is no negative review at all, all 5 stars and all very short reviews with nothing in detail. All fake reviews.

Scam, never buy here. They won’t reply to you and also don’t return it

Worst shopping experience. They sold me a defective chair. I tried to resolve the issue with their support team but they never came back to me with a response. Would never buy a single item from them again.

This shop feel like a scam and does not accept returns of faulty manufactured goods.

Terrible experience. Goods shipped from China. Bad quality, damaged items, and customer service even wants to negotiate with you.
