Have you been in touch with us about this? We have no record of you contacting us to discuss not receiving your order.

Your order was delivered on the 14th Feb. We use a tracked service with Royal Mail and I can indeed see a photo of the parcel on your doorstep in the postcode of delivery, you will have received an email with this tracking information in it too as well as emails from Royal Mail about your delivery.

If this was not received by you, you can let us know and we will look into it with Royal Mail, but it should not be a 1-star reflection of the service and value you have received from Lily Ella and I would ask you to reconsider this rating.

Website is easy to use doesn't get…

Website is easy to use doesn't get stuck and makes shopping experience easy.
Lovely collection true to its size, I was sceptical initially to make my first order and once I received the first order and after wearing them, loved the quality and finish, so ended up with three more orders.
I had contacted customers service as I made back to back two orders and requested for one postal cancellation, customer service was quick and prompt.
I would definitely recommend shopping and I have suggested this website to my mother too :)

Beware of the colour

The process of ordering and receiving my items was excellent.
I am very happy with the quality and fit as both are perfect.
A negative point on the “blue” sweater and cardigan was the fact that they are both a teal shade and not the blue shown on the website hence the deduction if one*.
I would have returned but I have clothes they will be easily worn with.

Great styles for mature women

I have been a Lily Ella customer some time . Most often I purchased ar Sale Time as though styles great for mature women I think a little overpriced and sizing not consistent- often had to order two to allow for getting correct size.
However,lovely classic styles. Hope these are continued under new management.

Disappointed that returns aren’t free…

Disappointed that returns aren’t free and that you also hold back 10% of value of item before refund. I wouldn’t buy from you again because of this. Notice the company is in receivership. If company is relaunched suggest returns policy is reviewed.Quality of clothes is very good.

Hi Vicki, sorry to hear this. We are not in receivership - this was the case with the previous owners of Lily Ella from 2023. We are under new ownership and very much trading and will continue to do so.

We made the decision recently to clear out our stock with a phenomenal sale of less than £10 per garment, sometimes saving over £200 and with a typical saving of £70 per garment.

For example, the retail value of your order a month ago would have been £370, meaning you saved well over £300 on your order.

Sadly, this means that a) returns cannot be free to post back to us and b) we cannot spend time inspecting, cleaning, repacking and putting clothes away without a small charge, which is becoming more common with much larger retailers too.

With us only making around £1 or £2 per product selling them at this price, we simply can't afford to pay £3/4 to Royal Mail for you to return an item and then pay staff to restock it for free as we would quickly go out of business making a loss on every returned order.

The returns fee is temporary, and free returns may return once a new range comes in the Spring as selling items at full price gives us the leeway to do so.

I hope this gives you a little more context, and I hope you reconsider this 1 star review in the balance of the value, service and speed you received from us and I hope you consider shopping with us again in the future.

Perfect

The ordering process was easy, and the company sent all the delivery details so I could keep track of the parcel. The parcel arrived promptly, and the quality of the dress I purchased was excellent.
Lily Ella has become my favourite online one-stop shop for all my outfits.
