low quality cashmere sweater, do not recommend

I bought a pure cashmere sweater from them, but they are itchy on the skin, pure cashmere should never feel itchy. I own dozens of pure cashmere so I know for sure. This is either low grade cashmere, or mixed in other fabric that were not disclosed on the label. I don't trust the quality.

Now I just submitted a return request, which is weird, it should accept return right away due to quality complaints. Also I have to pay $8.5 for the return label, it should be for free.

I do not recommend purchase from this brand.

LilySilk Short-Sleeved Pyjama Set – An Utterly Civilised Indulgence

From the moment the parcel arrived the experience felt like opening a thoughtful gift, with beautiful packaging and a truly elegant unboxing presentation. The silk is wonderfully cool and fluid against the skin and immediately gives a sense of quiet luxury. The short sleeved design with delicate piping is classic and flattering, and the three pockets on the shirt are a charming and practical touch. The fit is relaxed yet refined, perfect for slow mornings at home while still looking polished. These pyjamas feel beautifully made and have turned bedtime into a small daily indulgence.

Is it really cahshmere? Seems fake

I ordered a cashmere sweater and a cotton and silk top. The top didn't fit because it was way too small, so I had to send it back. Contrary to what was stated on the homepage, the return process is not free, and worse, it is very complicated and you have to contact customer service to get the exact address to send the return to. I was moderately satisfied with the sweater because it generated a lot of static electricity, which is supposed to be impossible with 100% cashmere. But my dissatisfaction reached its peak after washing. It shrunk by almost two sizes! I washed it just like I wash all my other cashmere items: hand washed with cold water, with a special glycerin detergent, and without spinning, of course.
So I think only their bedding is acceptable, but in any case, I will never order from them again.

- The item you purchased is indeed 100% cashmere, guaranteed by our rigorous supply chain system.

- The care label on the product detail page clearly states "Dry Clean Only". Cashmere fibers are highly prone to shrinking if washed improperly, which is the main reason for our clear dry clean instruction.

- Regarding static electricity: 100% cashmere may also generate static electricity in dry environments, especially when rubbed against synthetic clothing, which is not contradictory to the authenticity of the material.

We have contacted you via email regarding the after-sales matters of your order and proposed a solution aimed at your satisfaction. Please check your email. We are fully confident in resolving your issue properly through subsequent communication.

Extremely Disappointing Experience and Poor Customer Service

This has been a terrible experience! I bought a sweater and returned it immediately in November. I had to pay a return fee of 30% of the order amount—something that was never clearly stated on the website. The refund was supposed to be processed in November 2025, and now, nearly February 2026, customer service has sent over 20 emails with inconsistent information and no resolution. A total waste of time and money. I do not recommend LilySilk at all!

An update: the refund was deposited into my account in mid-December. It didn’t appear in my banking app due to a system glitch. However, that doesn’t excuse the inconsistent updates from the company and the paid return. My rating remains 1 out of 5. To be fair, the quality of their cashmere sweater was decent, but I prefer to buy from vendors with better customer service.

I am genuinely impressed by the exceptional craftsmanship, the clothes look even better in person than they did online. My order was delayed, but they stepped up immediately. Their offer of a partial refund was a class act and made me feel truly valued as a customer. The agent guided me through every stage of the resolution making sure I felt supported and informed at all times.

Sound business selling quality products!

I have ordered from LilySilk multiple times. Their products are excellent. Shipping times are reasonable. Customer service is fair when handling mix-ups.

I recently received two items I didn't order in place of two items I did. LilySilk reshipped the missing items, offered me a 20 percent discount on the items I mistakenly received (if I wanted to keep them) or free return UPS shipping (if I didn't) plus 1000 points added to my LilySilk rewards account as a thank you for returning these items.

Very happy with this company. Will continue purchasing products from them in the future.

Terrible quality

Terrible quality. The sweater is incredibly thin and see-through, not at all like the photos. The knit is scratchy and the neckline isn't elastic enough to allow the head through comfortably.

quality ok but it came already scented with floral fragrance

I like the quality, just wish it didn’t come scented. I don’t understand why brands keep using fragrance in brand new products, be it one their warehouses or packaging, but they make it very hard to wash off due to the delicate nature to silk, I can’t use most things to take the smell out. Not sure I’ll purchase from them again.

Will never buy again

Received a wool sweater with a few manufacturing defeats and asked for a replacement. Although the customer service replied quickly and politely, they first questioned me how I washed the sweater, asked me to return the sweater and told me that they can only send me one replacement. If the replacement has any defeat, they are not responsible for any follow up service. After reviewing the complicated and time consuming process to receive replacement, I decided to get a refund. Very disappointed with the garment quality and return/replacement policy.
