Great shop
Went in for a mattress. The person we spoke to was very knowledgeable and we felt he understood what we needed. A medium to firm mattress that was made with natural filling. The bed arrived well packaged and the delivery people were very polite. Real happy all round.

We now have the best bed ever! Had it a week and honestly never had a good nights sleep until now. The lad in the shop was so patient and knew what he was talking about and it led to us getting the ideal bed for our needs. 🤩

Very disappointed with the service
Very disappointed with the service from Linthalbed Stockton, Middlesbrough. We bought a £350 mattress that was advertised in the shop as a 1000 pocket spring mattress, but the one delivered to our home was clearly different from the display model. The depth and overall feel were not the same.
After we complained, they came for an inspection two weeks later and even agreed that the mattress was not the same as the one shown in the shop, saying it could be a manufacturing defect. However, it has now been three more weeks with no proper update from them. Every time we call, they promise to call back within an hour, but nobody ever calls back, even after days.
Poor communication and very disappointing after-sales service. I would advise others to be careful before purchasing from them.

Dodgy! Our original mattress was condemned by linthorpe beds themselves when it was faulty and completely sunk in less than a year. They refused a refund and instead would only offer a replacement mattress of the exact same model. Less than a year later and the exact same thing has happened again only this time they are refusing to take any responsibility even though the problem has never been resolved!

Went to view the range of mattresses and we were met with friendly staff members, no pushy sales pitch but advice given and the decision we made was ours rather than being pushed into buying something we didn't need. Good value and fast delivery with the option to collect if that is preferred.

Absolutely brilliant service from Paul at Linthorpe Beds. We have bought beds from them since they were in Linthorpe Road. Please utilise the people there and don’t just go in yourself to pick a bed. These people know exactly how to find the perfect bed for you by asking the right questions. By a process of asking questions, trying beds you get to the perfect one for you. We absolutely love our new bed, so comfortable. Asked about pillows too and invested in a couple of pillows for life - these too are so comfortable. Brilliant service and a company with the expertise to find you the right bed.
