The Sleep Talk method, which we have been lucky enough to do over the last several months with Sue, has been transformative for our family. It’s an incredibly simple idea, which takes minutes to complete each evening and yet its rewards are vast. Our 4 year old was really struggling with anger and would often take this out on us and his younger brother. This magical method has seen him manage his anger better and the way he treats his brother with such kindness and love is heart warming. It’s clear that the cumulative effect of speaking to his subconscious every evening, telling him how much we all love him and what a lovable person he is, has layered over any previous negative feelings about himself and helped to resolve some of the frustration and anger he has felt. It also gives us a time to really take in his beauty, when he’s fast asleep and we tell him these beautiful things, it can reset any bad vibes the day has brought upon us. I’m truly grateful to Sue for enabling us to complete this training with her and having this tool to use for the rest of his life. It’ll be his brother’s turn next - I can’t wait! Sue has been fantastic! We had a very in depth session with her over zoom regarding our 8 month old’s sleep, she took so much time to explain everything and provide us with tools to help with the frequent night wakings that we were dealing with. She was always on hand if we had any questions or concerns.
It has only been a few weeks and we now have a baby who self settles, has a great routine that suits him so much better and guess what … has slept through the night!! That’s something I never thought I would say so thank you so much Sue! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anybody.

After trying and failing for years to potty or toilet train our daughter we hadn't made any progress, and she had turned 4 at thus point, if anything we had made the situation worst. Our eldest was potty trained at 2 years old so we were completely stumped on what to do next. I found little life steps and read through the reviews on here and thought if anyone can help it's this lady! We chose the big helping hand.

After our zoom call and gathering all our new tools and advice, in the back of my head I still thought, could this actually work?! We'd been trying for over 2 years...

Well we are 3 days in of our daughter using the toilet for wees & Poos and its honestly overwhelming!

The stress, worry, self-doubt and feeling judged can really take a toll so if you are reading this thinking about using Sue I say definitely go for it!

I first met Sue when I attended one of her potty training courses and recently she was kind enough to give me some tips over the phone regarding my almost 5 year old and toileting. Things have definitely improved since then. My daughter is more conscious of drinking more throughout the day and is more willing to try on the toilet more frequently. It’s rare for her to have accidents now. I recommended Sue to a family member recently, as I know she’ll be a great support.

When we decided to work with Sue around toileting for our 2.5 year old daughter, we were so desperate and couldn’t see the end of the tunnel, having spent months and months trying to improve things after a regression!

Sue is so lovely, her approach is gentle, empathic, personalised and very knowledgeable. She didn’t make us feel pressured or judged in any way.
It was so helpful - as parents - to reflect on our own behaviour and response to toilet training challenges, and to follow an approach which took the pressure off ourselves and our daughter, while ensuring we have boundaries and routines that make it easier to get into good habits.
It certainly helped me become more patient and compassionate when dealing with toileting, ‘accidents’, refusal to use the toilet etc.
a couple of months on, we still have some work to do, but we’ve seen a marked improvement in our daughter’s toileting and behaviour, and in our ability to manage without feeling completely overwhelmed!

Sue is amazing and after 2 years of me and my partner trying to get our daughter to poo on the toilet we finally got there! She would only poo in a pull up but with Sue’s big helping hand package,patience,support and guidance in just 5 weeks we now have a happy 4 year old pooing confidently on the toilet at home and at nursery. We can’t thank Sue enough and are so glad to have finally cracked this poo issue before she starts school.I’m so pleased we reached out! Highly recommend :)

Sue has such a breadth of knowledge and she's really approachable. I used her for my eldest for potty training and the advice was so good she mastered it in no time. I will now be returning for advice on my youngest who's needs are so different that Sue is already proving to be invaluable.

Sue, you really are superwoman! We went through 20 months of no sleep, some days we were awake 3-4 hours in the middle of the night.. you really took the time to listen to us and what was important and restructured what we already had in place and what worked for us as full time working parents. I am now proud to say I have a well rested little girl who looks forward to sleeping in her bed and wakes up with the biggest smile... thank you for all your help I can see why they call you super Sue xxx

We did Sue’s Toddlers Wobblers course after having a lot of difficulties at home with our sons behaviour. The 4 week course was brilliant and gave us lots of new tools and skills to use to help us deal with lots of different scenarios we were struggling with.
Sue is so lovely and positive and eager to help in anyway she can which just makes you feel better before we had even started :)

Sue undoubtedly knows what she is taking about and helped our son with his potty training as he was still having ‘mistakes’ at the age of 5. Within weeks of Sue being involved and introducing routines it all stopped. She is brilliant with the kids and I have absolutely No hesitation in recommending her.

Unfortunately our son developed anxiety around pooing and resistance to
Letting go of his nappies. It got so bad he started withholding and ended up on medication.
It was the most stressful time to say the least. We tried different methods and techniques to try to help him, after a year and half of nothing working we decided to try the super sue package. It was the best decision we made, sue really knows how to work with children with individual personalities. Throughout the process we hadn’t realised what was causing the issues and she helped us have our son want to become more independent and psychologically helped him overcome his fear.
After just 2 weeks he has now been accident free for nearly a month. His confidence is through the roof and we now feel we understand how to communicate with him better and how to continue to hold boundaries needed for him to continue to thrive with confidence.

I did the potty training course and came away feeling really confident. Sue really knows her stuff. She has infinite tips and advice which she delivers in a friendly, professional and easy to understand way. Sue always helps with any queries or concerns promptly and thoroughly. She really is Super Sue!

Sue has helped us to no end. We firstly did a potty training course online (followed by bottom wiping)- the fun factor really helped our daughter enjoy the process more!
We also have used a lot of Sue’s free resources & found her weekly email tips invaluable. Sue has also offered us excellent bespoke advice when we have been at our wits end with our daughters sleeping. Sue is an amazing resource in every area of parenting!

Sue’s School Ready course was so fantastic. It prepared us for all eventualities and soo many helpful tips. So many things were spoke about that I would never of considered as issue with starting school so It helped in more ways than one. So pleased I done the course.

We’ve had an amazing experience using Sue.

Our daughter has always been reluctant to poo on the toilet, so we have spent a long time dealing with her soiling and withholding her stools.

We contacted Sue for help, and was very impressed with her responsiveness and help. All of my messages were responded to promptly, with excellent guidance and advice given. We also had a thorough meeting to discuss the situation, as well as a home visit where our daughter got to meet the Poo Lady!

Our daughter has made immense progress since we started following Sue’s advice and implementing the suggested changes.

We attended Sue’s Supper School Ready course a few months ago and can’t believe how valuable it’s been to help us support Freddie in starting school. It was interactive and engaging plus we got lots tips, tricks and ideas to help our son start school - we have been doing many of the activities together throughout the school holiday. I’m actually looking forward to Freddie starting his big school then dreading it now. Thanks again Sue !!!

I first contacted Sue in august as my 4 year old daughter was refusing point blank to go for a poo on the toilet, she would do a wee but to get her to poo was always a fight or screaming fit. She would consistently poo her pants resulting in many pants thrown away each day. She would most days run and hide and hold her poo in causing constipation resulting in the use of movicol. Sadly due to the lack of instructions from a dr we went round in circles and the problem was never resolved.
I was at my wits end to the point of tears, I couldn’t take my daughter anywhere without her pooing herself and embarrassment for both of us, she couldn’t go to clubs as most require children to be out of nappies. It was so upsetting. I was scared that she would be the only one in nappies when she started school and this would cause further issues for her confidence.
Then one day whilst at a complete loss of what to do I googled poo consultants/poo dr, Sue’s wonderful website popped up. I had an initial phone call with her to discuss the issues and she was just perfect, she knew her stuff and literally described what was going on perfectly. She even sent me the information I should have had with regards to the movicol so was able to implement that correctly.
I decided to go for the 1 2 1 big helping hand package and We then had an in depth 2 hour zoom call to set out a plan going forward, we were told and expected the whole process to be lengthy as the problem had been going on for months. However we turned it around in less than 2 weeks with Sue’s help!! My daughter is now clean and in pants and only one pair a day!! She now happily sits on the toilet and does a poo, and will even take herself off to do it. She even went on an public toilet whilst out which 2 weeks ago would have caused a meltdown. It has literally changed our lives. We can go out and given us all so much more freedom, our daughter can now partake in activities she wouldn’t have been able to before and given her so much more confidence. I really can’t thank Sue enough. She is the toilet whisperer. Xx

We purchased the Potty Training course which was very informative. It gave us the confidence we needed to fully prepare our child for potty training. We ran into a few bumps in the first week. She was very helpful to us over email. We felt very supported throughout. Thank you Sue. You are wonderful!
