Littlepro.co.uk was founded in 2016 by Paul Ebrey - Dad of two active kids My kids, like many these days, were early out of the gates when trying the more extreme sports. It all started when we discovered Islabikes. At the time my eldest child was 4, the youngest still 2. Both took to cycling very quickly once they had the Islabikes at their disposal. They rapidly moved on to riding back and forth to school, zooming down hills in the woods at break-neck speeds. After one particularly spectacular crash, which mangled my eldest's cheap helmet (thankfully no lasting harm to the child), we decided it was time to invest in some decent kit. That's where things became very difficult. Apparently, kids aged 2 & 4 are not supposed to be throwing themselves down hills like this, and whilst we were able to source a decent helmet, everything else - riding tops, shorts, gloves were ridiculously difficult to source. None of the sports outlets seemed to cater for this age range, with most starting at a minimum of 6 years old. I took to the forums - surely there must be somewhere. But no - everyone was in the same position as me. It was a case of shopping around and adapting / making do with whatever you could find. So, I decided to do something about it. Littlepro.co.uk is a site dedicated to bringing together all the products that we can find to service the aged 2 - 6 age group. But we have gone further. Because it is so difficult to find some items, we are in the process of creating our own custom range. Like Islabikes, these are products we have created with the children in mind, rather than the adult. We have employed the services of a top sportswear designer who works with many of the main brands in order to do this. Furthermore, we check every product we take on for quality. You will find no toys on this site. Nor will you find anything from the bargain bucket at Primark. Decent quality gear, thats suitable for your very own little pro.

Perfect birthday gift

Quick, friendly and helpful service
Messaged the owner first as I was unsure on sizing for the knee and arm pads, and he was super helpful and friendly (and quick) at replying, so I was able to get the right pads ordered quickly. He advised to buy by age and not the measurements as it's so difficult to measure accurately and he couldn't have been more right, if I'd ordered by my measurements they'd have been too small 😅. They were dispatched quickly, arrived quickly, fitted perfectly and my lads are happy with the comfort of the pads - tried and tested the next day with a thumbs up from my youngest after a tumble 👌. Wouldn't hesitate to use again, thanks for providing great quality, affordable, children's mtb gear!

The gloves are tiny and bad quality. I ordered a large then I returned it and they have sent me an XL which is ripped at the seams on the fingers and still tiny.

We are very sorry to hear you are not happy with the gloves you received. You placed your original order for the Polaris Children's Cycle Mitts on May 16th, and they were despatched to you the same day via RM 24. On May 19th, you messaged us to request an exchange for the XL version, which we arranged. We received the large pair back on May 21st, and again despatched the replacements to you the same day.
It's now the 22nd of May, and other than a poor rating here, we have received no other feedback.
Whilst we can't comment on the state of the gloves without seeing them, we do accept it is possible (as with any clothing) for there to be defects. We sell thousands of pairs of children's cycling gloves and very rarely have any issues, and if we do, they are of course replaced free of charge and as quickly as possible. However we cannot do that if we are not aware of the issue.
In terms of sizing, these are children's gloves, and the Polaris XL size are the largest allowed as specified by HMRC. Anything larger is classified as adult clothing, and is therefore subject to VAT. The size measurements are also clearly detailed on the website product listing.

Perfectly scaled down cycling gloves
Really pleased with these little gloves. They are proper scaled down cycling gloves with the same features you would expect on a good pair of adult gloves. The fingers are slightly long on my 2 year old grandson (which means they will last) but they fit securely with the velcro strap and he is happy to wear them on his balance bike.
