Wonderful company to deal with

Wonderful company to deal with, from initial enquiries through to first class installation service. Our tulip table is fabulous, but as important has been the customer experience. We highly recommend Little Tulip!

I could not be any happier with my purchase. Such a beautiful table, and a stunning piece of marble. I am absolutely delighted with my choice. Thank you to The Little Tulip Shop for their informative staff and the amazing customer service received

Highly recommended

Decided to treat ourselves to a new Tulip table and chair set to replace our old shabby one which was from a different supplier.

The difference in quality and look was night and day, Little Tulip really have nailed the aesthetic dimensions of the originals, it’s so much better than our old set in looks and quality.

It’s a small company and they really give a personal service, good communication throughout and a pleasure to chat to on the phone, they love their products and it really shows.

Delivery was perfect, on time and polite and friendly. I went for assembly as well, which I recommended as they take great care and know exactly what they’re doing and take the packing away with them.

If you can’t afford the real thing Little Tulip is the next best option.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience from start to finish.

Black Marble Table

Very pleased with the 200cm black porturo marble table we ordered, and it takes pride of place in our dining room. We found the sealing kit easy to use, and also great customer service too, so would recommend to all.

WORST AFTER SALES SERVICE

What looked like a great table was a total disappointment. Looked good on arrival but was marked within days. We tried asking for some guidance to seal the surface but they were pretty unhelpful and certainly showed no sign of care or concern. Long story and a series of email transcripts I'd be happy to share, but the headline is "do not buy anything from these people." They are simply interested in taking your money and provide no after sales service. FYI they claim they sold 400 of these in 2020 alone!!! With that revenue, some empathy, kindness and understanding would be expected. But none whatsoever. They run their company with a "computer says no" mindset. They basically insinuated "your problem, not ours" in their non committal and errant emails, when challenged about marks on the table within 3 weeks of delivery. What a disappointment.

Thankyou for your ‘review’ of the natural marble Tulip Table.

As our emails show, we offered ‘care and concern’ by talking through all your communications from email and phone and then subsequently putting you in touch with a marble expert who both remedies accidents and seals marble tables in the process. Nothing to do with revenue and certainly not a computer says no attitude as you report.

Marble is marble, taking over 200 million years to form and is sold as table and counter tops the world over – It is a naturally occurring material and we have no part whatsoever in the forming of or manufacture of – it is naturally occurring. Our tops are the same therefore as any other table, counter, tile or flooring supplier of Italian Carrara marble in the world. Our site has countless pages on sealing and marble aftercare which does denote that tables left unsealed need to be treated with due care.

Unfortunately, something has occurred, and damage has been inflicted to the top. Marks do not ‘appear’ they are result of hot plates, spills, substrates in contact with the stone (the same happens to wooden and even metal tables). The same would have occurred whether it was a table or any of the many products real marble is used for the world over. As an analogy, a beautiful new car also has a warranty, but the dealer cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur. Even then we were trying hard to put you in touch with someone to help. Sadly, service will always be seen to be inferior when it doesn’t bow the way of demands which we consider unreasonable.

Our team is still available to help remedy the problem, they are always happy to help every weekday from 9 am until 5pm

Not fit for purpose

Bought a dining set with a marble table after reading all the reviews and the aftercare advice.
Unfortunately after a few weeks very light use we have had numerous marks appear. On querying this we have been advised to get it sealed despite the after care advice that it does not need sealing.
There are only the two us and we have been careful but Little Tulip just say its our fault. I would hate to think what it would look like with normal use.
This item is not fit for it’s purpose beware!

Just received my 120cm round marble…

Just received my 120cm round marble table.. excellent service from start to finish .. The installation guys were brilliant. Both patient and very helpful. Table was assembled professionally and within in minutes . All packaging removed .. Would highly recommend the service and the Little tulip company .

I recently bought the large oval marble…

I recently bought the large oval marble table, opting for the installation service.

The customer service was faultless, with a call and email to arrange delivery and installation.

The delivery team arrived, installed my beautiful table and took away all the packaging.

We will order our second table upon completion of our holiday home.

Table marks within seconds-disappointing!

After contacting customer regarding some water stains on the table that occurred from small water droplets from an ice cold glass that was put on a coaster, I wiped said water up within 3 seconds with a dry towel and it’s left a huge wipe mark. If I had known that the table required sealing I would have done this before use.
I was aware it would need care when using and I am happy to use coasters/placemats but if marks are left within seconds I feel the material isn’t fit for purpose unless it’s sealed. The tables should be sealed by the company or make customers aware that they require sealing.

I have been so careful as I was very pleased with it, it’s beautiful, but I’m disappointed that you won’t be able to even wipe it over without causing extensive markings. It’s a very expensive table but it definitely needs sealing by the company before they dispatch.

Customer service weren’t overly helpful just said yeah well we have loads of happy customers so nothing they can do, don’t seem to be understanding or sympathetic. Reading other reviews further down I imagine they have had a few other similar phone calls to mine.

Beautiful table but not fit for every day usage- unless sealed !! be aware it WILL mark however careful you are with it and marks look awful.

Stained by WATER, please beware!

Whilst the customer service is very good and the product itself is lovely, please note that the site doesn't mention the marble table is only polished and NOT sealed. What this means is that you cannot even spill water on it. If you drop a slice of lemon, that's it. It'll have watermarks if you don't use coaster all the time. You need to be extremely cautious. Your option is to get it sealed professionally for a good few hundred or use a glass/perspex top. I'd have expected this to me mentioned on the website.

Very professional service from start to finish.

Very professional service from start to finish. The 1.75m marble top oval dining table and chairs set is stunning. We selected the white glove delivery and installation service which is seamless and very good value, which also includes the removal of all packaging materials. Natalie offered very good communication throughout. I would recommend the little Tulip Company without any hesitation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had a follow up enquiry regarding my purchase once again it was a pleasure to deal with such a professional company particularly so in the area of customer experience...a true gem

The 200cm oval table is absolutely…

The 200cm oval table is absolutely stunning. It's made the room. Love it. It's so well produced, the shape is elegant, the marble exceptionally finished, and reflects the light from my windows and skylight, brightening the whole space. I nearly didn't buy the table because it was over my budget, but I'm so pleased I took the plunge - it's a forever table. I'd recommend opting for the install if you're getting the large table - it's heavy! Though easy to move once on the stand. Natalie provided excellent customer service throughout the process - I'm hugely grateful, and can't stop sitting at it!

Fabulous product and excellent service

We bought a 120cm carrara marble table with 4 chairs and it is superb. It really is as good as it looks on their website - or better! Very beautiful, solid and comfortable to sit at. I have seen the Knoll version which retails for around £4k (without chairs!) and this is certainly comparable. Very well packaged for delivery. I must just mention how helpful Littletulip were over the delivery as with Covid restrictions we had to make some changes to the planned date.

Great company

Great company, great product. I had to wait a little bit for my marble table. But with brexit and covid, one can expect some sort of delay. Worth the wait though. Girls in the office there very helpful and polite too. I will be shopping here again in the future.
