Premium feel, cheap performance

Delivery to an inner-city Melbourne suburb took almost a month, which was already disappointing. Unfortunately, the bottle itself hasn’t lived up to the hype either. It doesn’t hold temperature well, and despite the advertised filter tech, the water starts tasting stale quite quickly. The swig top also develops a funky smell after washing and then sitting unused, which is a deal-breaker. The only real positive is the design: it looks sleek and feels premium in the hand. But in terms of performance and quality, it’s definitely not high-end. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Impossible to register bottle and file warranty claim. Terrible customer service experience so far.

I purchased a Larq purevis2 and am within the 1 year warranty period. I’m experiencing a defect with the cap of my water bottle where, the button lights up orange instead of blue and is not activating the UV purification cycle. I’ve reached out to Larq through their email Chanel and received an auto reply that I needed to register my bottle’s serial # before filing a warranty claim. The website won’t let me even register the bottle because when I try to enter my bottle’s serial number into the field, it states “Please enter valid serial number.” I’ve emailed Larq screenshots of the website showing the inability to register the product with a photo of the serial number of the bottle and have received no reply. This has been the most frustrating customer service experience I’ve had for any product. Think long and hard before purchasing a $130+ water bottle from Larq, because in my experience it has been impossible to get assistance when an issue arises. They also don’t have a phone number which raises its own set of red flags. All I can say is think long and hard before purchasing a Larq product.

Don't get the Larq Purevis 2. The hydration tracking is useless.

The Larq Purevis 2 bottle doesn't accurately measure the volume of water you're drinking, because it doesnt always communicate with the app, as it should.

I thought mine must be faulty, so they very kindly sent me a replacement cap - but the new one is exactly the same, so it's clearly a design flaw.

Sometimes it registers that you had a drink, other times it doesn't.

So my advice is, its not worth paying extra money for the Purevis 2. Just get the cheaper Purevis to purify the water. The hydration tracking is essentially useless. There's also a YouTuber who ran a test that demonstrates that perfectly.

My experience option with subscription…

My experience option with subscription was poor filter they sent to different address and eventually lost it take them almost a month to get a refund afrer acknowledging their mistake saying was system bug 🙃!?
plus costumer services not willing to do much to make anything better after so many e-mail exchanging sorry guys that not the premium service the price one of the most expensive product on the market not reflecting any quality at least got refund but cancel my subscription therefore 1star!

The one gadget I genuinely missed

I lost my LARQ bottle at the airport and it took me three weeks to order a new one. I didn’t realize how much I relied on it until it was gone. It was honestly the most missed gadget during that time. The water always tastes fresh, and the quality is excellent. Plus, their customer service has been fantastic. So glad to have it back!

Read before purchasing Purevis 2…

I purchased their Larq Bottle Purevis 2, 1L + Advanced filters.
The bottle itself is super heavy. That's what it is. The straw with the filter attached to the bottom falls out everytime you open the lid to pour in water. This is simply so annoying and means you have to fish it up, put it back in place. Likewise it sometimes falls out just by being inside the bottle, meaning you have to open it up and put the straw back.
Thirdly, you have to really suck on the opening to retrieve the water, making your intestines fill up with air as well as the water. It's difficult to get the water out, making it non intuitive to want to drink from it. Especially when you drink a lot throught the day.
Lastly if I turn it upside down, twisting my neck to try to get the water flowing, this makes it drip from a whole in the bottle underneath the lid. Making the water go on me and not in me.
I never write reviews on here, but I am genuinely super disappointed with this product, as I was so excited to find a water bottle with UV + filter, but found this to be not worth the money at all.
Sidenote: their filter subscription is scam in regards to the filters you expect to receive vs the amount you receive. Bought the bundle with filters and subscription + extra filters. I received 1xfilters but had 2 active subscriptions in my account ready to charge 45$ each pr next shipment.

I purchased the LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 and it’s my go to for water. I don’t leave home without it. I month ago I purchased the pitcher and the whole family loves it. We had an issue with the wand not charging. I reached out to LARQ (Martina G) great customer service. They resolved my issue and expedited shipped me a new part

Still a loyal LARQ Fan, even more after my latest experience:)

I’ve been a LARQ user for years; first with the original PureVis bottle, and about a year ago I upgraded to the newer model. I’ve always loved their products, the concept, and the quality they offer.

For the first time ever, I recently encountered a small issue and reached out to customer support. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, especially nowadays when things can be complicated and on sadly on purpose.
But I was genuinely impressed by how professionally and quickly everything was handled.

I described the problem once in my initial first contact, and they immediately understood, reassured me, and processed a solution without any delay or hassle. The whole experience felt smooth, legitimate, and incredibly efficient, far beyond what I expected.

More than satisfied, and still a very happy LARQ customer. Highly recommended :)

I am not happy with this purchase at…

I am not happy with this purchase at LARQ at all. Paid a substantial amount for a simple water bottle. Customer service is poor and full of excuses. They deny my legally earned points and my request to change the colour—mentioned they shipped it, even though there is no tracking available, and I contacted customer support within a minute of purchase. This simple bottle they are selling for around $80 is sent by government postal service (not even bothering to send it via FedEx). I am from Australia, and our retailers are the best.

Nice Bottles & Good Customer Service

I purchased a LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 bottle in March 2025.
It took about a week to get used to drinking from the bottle. The water seems to taste more consistent regardless of where I fill it up. I have not verified the water cleanliness (filtering effectiveness) as I have been relying on reviews.

The battery in the cap lasts for quite some time (~3 weeks with regular use).
The app is clean, intuitive, and a one-stop shop for accessories.
Something that I have not found is how the filter lifetime is determined. To me, it seemed to be just based on time, i.e., regardless of use, which I don't understand. What if one doesn't use their bottle for a month? Does that mean the filter has still aged the same as if it were used regularly for the same period?

The hinge on the bottle cap broke twice within 9 months - the bottle wasn't dropped; I'm not as delicate as one could be with bottles.
However, customer service was quick to respond and replaced it both times within 1-2 weeks.

Great service; great product

I purchased the LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 in June last year because of contaminated water at my workplace. The taste difference is significant! The filters are reasonably priced, and the bottle looks great.

Unfortunately the plastic around the UV button broke off without any drops or damage but Irena was extremely quick in replying and getting a replacement sorted. Great customer service.

My only issue with the bottle has been the ring light on the lid -- I wish there was a way to turn it off, it's so annoying that it flashes intermittently!

Otherwise highly recommend.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, heavy bottles make it inconvenient for travelling.
My husband and I both have LARQ bottles and we have had different issues with our bottles. My bottle is difficult to close and open and my husband’s has this metal smell and taste since he received it. We contacted customer service before the end of our warranty and they sent new gaskets claiming that this would help solve my issue. For my husband’s, they just sent a video showing how to properly clean it.
We tried their «solutions » for a couple months and since it did not solve our issues, decided to contact them again.
They simply replied that our warranty was expired…. It felt like they purposely tried to prolong the issue.
I kept trying to explain to them that I contacted them before the end of our warranty so they offered a 15% rebate on new order :/ as if I was happy with my first order to purchase another one lol!
The customer service was extremely bad. We had to run after them because they would take weeks to answer.
The bottles are also so heavy it makes it hard to carry when travelling or simply carrying around. I took mine while travelling once and the light stopped working when it went it went under the security belt in the airport… so much for claiming that it’s good to travel with lol
Anyway, not worth the price really. I would never recommend it to anyone.

I ordered a LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 and learned a day after the purchase that a new Black Friday discount became available. I asked LARQ customer service regarding an option to get the discount even after my purchase. A day later I got the message that they will reimburse the amount. This is what I call great customer service.

Great customer service

Great customer service, have had two issues with my bottle and they’ve dealt with it straight away and fixed the issue both times. The uv is great and keeps the water much fresher than a standard bottle. Although like all other bottles every time you drop it, it dints and scratches but I’m yet to find an insulated bottle that doesn’t do this especially using it all the time

Amazing customer service, wish they had a contact number to talk to someone, but nevertheless Amazing customer service. Great product, a little pricey but knowing your drinking the cleanest water, you cant put a price on that.

Highly recommend

I have had water filters for years, and was always concerned about hygiene, as they stay in fairly long. So I was very interested when I found out about Larq’s filtering + sanitising system.
I love my pitcher, but after two years, the handle broke off. I contacted customer support, and within less than a day, Irena answered, and offered a free replacement, even though the warranty had already expired.
Great product plus excellent customer service!
