Where to start with this company
Where to start with this company? For the first 3 of the 4 year loan agreement, each of my payments has been made on time without issue. Then, due to a change in career, it meant my payday was now the last Friday of the month rather than the 25th of each month. Subsequently, this meant that the loan repayment would be made just before pay day. I used the livelend web messaging service to write to them 2 weeks prior to another loan repayment to change my payment date to the first of each month, which would coincide with my new pay day, resulting in a guaranteed payment as it has been for the past 3 years. Fast forward to the end of the month and the original date of the 25th was still active, which meant that I didn’t have the funds to cover the payment. I then rang livelend and explained my new circumstances and was told that the new date of the 1st of the month was now changed. Again, the following month, nothing had changed and another payment was missed. I then rang back up and was told to cancel my direct debit and change it online to the first of the month. I cancelled my direct debit and logged on to the website to change the direct debit, but it doesn’t give you the option to change the date, only to set up as per the original date which I explained to two customer service agents would not be possible. I’ve also tried to pay the outstanding amount on the livelend website and have either been logged off without the payment being taken or an error message occurs which also results in the payment not being taken. At each step of the way, I have tried to rectify the issue that is livelends fault in the first place for not acting on the initial correspondence and am still no further forward.

I suffer extreme anxiety and OCD about payments and the dates they leave my bank i got in touch with them around 23rd May to ask to change my payment date to last working day of every month the lady said if she is at that point I would have to pay on the 30th of May and I do already paid on the 2nd of May two payments in one month she told me that she would amend my payment date at the end of May my payment would be the 30th of June on the 29th of June I got in touch to make sure this is still happening to be told I was given the wrong information and they couldn’t make this happen and cancel my direct debit reluctantly I did read about a missed payment on my credit score what was assured this would not be affected since then I’ve received nothing but emails and texts I’ve missed a payment and when I log onto my online account it still says I’m only a payment in red missed payment for June this is causing me nothing but distress why can’t we get a simple thing right I know offer of goodwill of my time of having to keep chase this

Paid off early to save a fortune of cash!
I paid an extra payment and no reduction of the interest was considered so I paid the loan off early as possible being a pensioner. Thank you for helping in my time of need. May God Bless and Protect all of your staff.

Flawless: simple and good value
Good rate, simple process, easy to manage the loan, and simple to pay off in the end. And ethical - what's not to like?
No help when in financial problems
I lost my job due to Covid 19. LiveLend refused any kind of help, reduced payment or payment break while trying to get back on my feet. They continued to hound me for payment & reported my missed payments to credit reference agencies. Do not use these people!!

Helped me turn my finances around
Was recommended livelend via my credit score app as I didn't have the best score. It was easy to apply for the money and I was able to pay off a large overdraft and a credit card leaving my finances in a much healthier position. Website was easy to use and I was able to overpay at my convenience.
Liveland lived up to the statement, Credit Rating rise, Interest Costs lowered.
Liveland lived up to the statements they advertised and in fact in the time I was with them when twice I increased my credit rating Livelend decreased my interest rates.
All transactions with the company were polite, pleasant and a pleasure.
