STEER CLEAR = A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT

Steer Clear a complete disappointment.
As with the other review, Living Concrete (LC) offered a great and convincing sales pitch then nothing but a costly disaster once contracted and a very large deposit had been paid. LC was employed to carry out a substantial amount of work on a new build property. They would only return to rectify errors and incomplete works after forcing our contractor to pay for “extras” & following a legal threat. The errors were never their fault, it was either “the product or substrate”…..

Unfortunately other problems were never rectified and certain exterior works not started despite happily accepting a large deposit. Days on site were never consistent coming as they pleased without any communication. This caused huge and costly delays to the completion of the project. Apparently (advised by 1 employee) they are down to one team as others employees have quit.
Owner is opening something in Indonesia, so was never around in person to manage quality of work and his workers.

I would not be surprised if LC closes down in the UK if his business overseas develops.

Poor experience with Living Concrete

We had our kitchen done with Living Concrete tiles and and island & countertop, last year. The sales talk was great but once they had the work, the communication was awful.

Our architect sent them an image of a sloping drainage for the countertop sink (the image was taken from their website, so entirely possible to do) and they didn't bother to do it. They said they would come round a complete the countertop and island - sanding them down - but haven't bothered. You can't put down a cup of hot tea on the surfaces because the sealant melts and leaves a stain.

I wouldn't bother with this company.
