HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH LIVINGSTON THEY LIED, THEY SAID YOUR SHIPMENT PROCESSING EXPEDITED, BUT THE DRIVER ALWAYS HAVE TO WAIT FOR LONG 10-12 HOURS AT THE BORDER.
PLEASE DON'T TRUST LIVINGSTON AT ALL

We used Livingston for approximately 14 years, both for customs clearance and freight services. Livingston improperly classified our tariff codes and failed to follow the written instructions on our account, causing our company to pay the CBSA $110,000 in duties. Unfortunately, there was no recourse because the importer is ultimately reposnsible for tariff classification. It would have been nice if their CSR and account managers had been more diligent and followed the written instructions on our account. Lessons were learned on our part. I don't recommend Livingston and would highly suggest changing brokers immediately because of their poor service and lack of attention to their clients needs. They may respond to this review with a cookie cutter message, but the fact of the matter is, I will never recommend them to anyone nor say anything positive about the company for my entire life.

Driver contact centre, who are those people?? They have no answer for anything ever, keeps reading the same script. Why do you even exist Livingston??

i wish i can give them zero star. what an terrible broker. government should initiate and close this brokerage asap. they are wasting lot of carrier time. not sure why customer hire this kind of worst broker for clearance. there is lot of broker available who are reliable.

Often we are having to contact the call center many times just to get shipment started. Weekends/evenings are almost impossible any clearances processed. Average is 12-20 hours for a shipment to be started and processed on the weekend/evenings.

THE WORST EVER! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE OR THEIR CUSTOMERS. LIVINGSTON (WITHOUT THAT SHUT DOWN LAST WEEK) COSTS THEIR CUSTOMERS WAIT TIME FROM CARRIERS. I RECOMMENDED ANOTHER BROKER AND HE GOT SETUP AND CUSTOMS CLEARANCE OF HIS FREIGHT IN A FEW HOURS.

I have 16 year trucking experience but the worst broker i ever faced is Livingston !! Every single load is for clear over 7 hours ! Every single time I call this broker an operator refer to mysterious team which is working doing the best 🤬
If this is the "best" what is the worst ???? Some time they refer to slow system operating or down of system.

Need an earthquake that would destroy everyone and everything in livingstons buildings so this company can stop existing. That would be a blessing from god. Carriers need to grow some balls and charge customers extra 300 dollars if livingston is broker. That will make customers switch their brokers fast.

What an absolute terrible customs broker. Every load I have ever entered with them is either botched, or leave my drivers sitting and waiting for HOURS or even DAYS before the load is cleared. Time is money and these guys done give one you know what about the fact that product needs to move. This is the ONLY customs broker that has ever given me a problem. Anyone else I have processed documents with gets the loads clear within an hour. Quite surprising these people are still in operation with the reputation they have.

The worst excuse for a broker ever. A simple, everyday shipment from a regular customer... Over 36 after paperwork submitted, still no activity to process the paperwork?!
Finally, after many phone calls, "okay, paperwork is processed, ready to send to customs"... over 5 hours later, still "ready to send to customs", but nothing happening?!
Paperwork is "good" according to Livingston reps, but now in "administrative hold" indefinitely.
And they call themselves a CUSTOMS BROKER???? This is beyond ridiculous. They should be forced to SHUT DOWN and reimburse the people waiting for them to do their job! I will gladly join a class-action lawsuit against this pathetic excuse for a business.
Why doesn't someone look into this horrible customer service at exorbitant prices? They leave trucks and shipments in limbo without recourse! Why doesn't someone make them pay, like Rogers was made to pay!

Even after they claim their outage has been resolved. It has been more than a week. Customer gets a regular load with these guys. And suddenly they say their account has been closed since february.
And they tell me this at 11pm in night. Driver has been stuck at border since 1.00pm in the after noon and at night they remember ohh the account is closed .i have been tolerating their lies and bulls**t from years . Ia m no longer picking up a load that has custom broker as livingston. Rather wait and pick up and another load than deal with their lies.

If you are looking for worst custom broker you search ends here. I never seen worst broker then Livingston.
If you pick a load with Livingston custom broker be ready for Layover at border. There waiting time starts from 9-24 hours for custom clearance.They don’t know about the value of time, hours of regulation in logbook, appointment times. Everytime my drivers wait at border minimum 15 hours, I am stop pickup loads with Livingston custom broker.
