We recently completed a loft conversion and are very happy with the result. The overall service was very good, particularly the pre-sales process which was efficient and informative.

The build team was quick and showed great attention to detail. We were amazed at how fast the conversion went up! All the tradespeople were of good quality, clearly knew what they were doing, and consistently arrived on time, making the process hassle-free.

Particular praise goes to Gyorgy in the build team, who gave us excellent ideas on layouts and was always really responsive. Also, Joanna in the office did a fantastic job, picking up a lot of the project management work when we lost our original project manager halfway through the build.

The final price we paid was fair for the quality of work we received. However, our original quote did not contain a few bits that were essential for the build and came to light after the design phase, (extra steel, tin hat, and some additional cost for brickwork). It would have been better to have these elements included in the initial quote for budgeting, but as I said, the prices for these things was reasonable and I am happy with the total we paid. I think this is just a reality of construction projects, and not anything LMB did wrong.

The only reason for four stars rather than five the project management hiccup.

Overall, we are very happy with our new loft and would certainly use LMB again.

I am based in SW17. I had a full renovation of my upper floor maisonette carried out by LMB. This included full rewire, new boiler and completely new plumbing, new kitchen fitted, new sash windows throughout, bifold doors
and back to brick re plaster. For my loft extension I had a dormer and mansard extension including a roof terrace. This added 2x bedrooms and bathroom.
The majority of the subcontractors working with LMB have been working with them a while and provide a good quality service.
I had an issue with the quality of the roofing around the dormer windows and LMB were accommodating and completely started again and finished it to a high standard. A special mention to Joanna and T in the office who always picked up the phone with a positive attitude and a desire to fix any problems.

LMB did a great job of our extensive loft conversion a new side dorma , rear dorma and turning one end into a gable remodelling of upstairs and an en suite for master bedroom.Lee and team were very helpful and professional throughout the whole process also setup a WhatsApp group with all the team members on your project to keep you updated on all processes.Joanne and T were always on hand to help with any queries after completion Lee carried out an inspection and kept in touch afterwards Many Thanks

We chose LMB to do our loft after seeing their banners around the area for years and hearing good things from friends who had used them.

The quote was really clear and easy to understand. They weren’t the cheapest, but compared to the other two companies we had round, LMB stood out straight away.

The office team — Isaac, T, and Joanna — were really helpful and kept us updated through the WhatsApp group from start to finish. The trades on site worked hard and had a great attitude. The roofers, tiler Matt, and plastering team all did an excellent job.

The price we were quoted was exactly what we paid, and the project was finished a week earlier than planned.

The attention to detail the ideas were given to us I felt in good hands as you can see the detail on our zinc dormer complimented our property with look and also space

Price was very competitive with contract quoted is price we paid there was ideas like pockets doors to save space in our compact bathroom

We're exceptionally happy with our LMB loft and first floor renovation. The first fix contractor Ashley went above and beyond to create a layout for us that worked for our very specific needs. He recommended the pentagon window in the office which added a wow factor to an otherwise functional space.
All of the contractors employed by LMB have been excellent - careful and considerate of our home and completing high quality work as well as being friendly and professional.
As with all build projects there has been some slight snagging to be done after the build had been completed and to LMB's credit they have been proactive in reaching out to check if we have needed any help in the weeks following contractors leaving. Any remedial works have been completed quickly and without any quibble. Their aftercare has gone above and beyond our expectation and has meant we wouldn't hesitate to use LMB's services again.

Alfie and Darren were absolutely great -polite, professional and respectful of my house and the neighbours, they were tidy and did a great job of renovating the loft space. Great communication throughout.

Thank you also to Harry the roofer who did a great job, Wayne and his colleague who were very considerate when erecting the scaffolding so that it didn’t obscure the view or access to my garden, Steve did a great job of the carpentry as did the electrician.

We contracted with LMB to Design & Build our loft extension, after our architect went into administration following COVID. LMB were able to move quickly to get work underway and the roof watertight before the Christmas shutdown. Their main builder, Brandon, was absolutely excellent - great comms, considerate, polite, friendly. All members of the team were great to work with and easy to contact through being on a team-wide WhatsApp group. LMB's office staff were also always on hand and were positive and friendly. LMB know loft extensions and are a very efficient and trustworthy operator.

Contacted LMB Group to undertake a loft conversion on Broomfield Road, Beckenham.

The overall price was very competitive and even better still the service was excellent.

The entire project only took just over six weeks which is two weeks quicker than quoted.

A special shout out has to go to Joanna in the office - as her communications were excellent and to Brandon who was on-site for the vast majority of the build.

All contractors turned up on time and were polite and thoughtful in their works, sheeting up all areas to minimise dust and mess.

At the end of the build LMB did a complete clear up of the site leaving it as they found it.

We had a loft conversion carried out by lmb in 2021 and also asked for them to add lead flashing to part of the existing roof which they did, no problem.
Recently we noticed, part of the lead flashing had slipped, likely due to adverse weather so we contacted lmb.
They arranged for this to be repaired quickly.
We're very happy with the aftercare we've received from Lee, Joanna and the team at lmb.

This is the second loft conversion we have done with LMB. All went well again , the project was completed to time , at the agreed cost and we are very happy with the quality.
