We recently had our loft conversion carried out by L&B after a recommendation from some friends of ours who had done the same and we couldn't be happier with the results, it's like living in a show home.
All the guys working on the project we're excellent, tidy, reliable, and kept us updated with what was going on and what decisions would need to be made. Ryan who did a lot of the building work especially was top drawer, sending daily videos of what was being done, and making tweaks to things as he went to solve us problems we weren't seeing - lining the windows and hatches up so they would be symmetrical after the wardrobes went in, reinforcing the wall so we will have a place to mount the TV when we get to it etc. Nice touches that we would have missed.
There were a few bumps along the way where unexpected issues popped up - as there always will be, and each time we were able talk to Lee and work through to a happy compromise on solutions to them. 
Once the main job was finished the guys came back and tidied up all the loose ends, patching up bits of wall, boxing in new pipework, fixing the dips in the drive and got everything ready to be decorated.
100% would use these guys again if I am ever in need of a loft conversion.

Lee and his team did an excellent job on our loft conversion 6yrs ago. When we were ready to sell the property and we required documentation regarding the loft that we did not have, Lee and his team were more than happy to supply the required documention. LMB did a beautiful loft conversion for us. We wanted something bespoke and slightly unusual and they delivered at a competitive price. The pricing structure and quote given were very clear. All the tradesmen did a great job and were very nice. Like all construction projects, some problems happened along the way, but LMB always went out of their way to resolve them. We are thrilled with the result.

We highly recommend LMB! We had several quotes as we was weary of doing building works and getting the right company in to do it! But Lee was great from start to finish everything was detailed in the quote and no hidden costs , we discussed what we wanted and LMB listened and made our dreams into reality! All the LMB team were polite professional tidy ( we have young children and the guys made sure everything was well tidy by end of play everyday this is a huge thing for us and one less stress THANK YOU! ) and gave high end quality work start to finish.

We commenced our loft conversion mid March 2022 and completed mid June. I was very apprehensive to start. The party wall agreement was a bit of an issue, one of my neighbours was particularly unhelpful and chose the most expensive Chartered Surveyor. However, when both neighbours reached agreement most of the building works went very smoothly. We were fortunate to have Dave Crawley as our Project Manager, Jack Crawley and Paul as 1st fix Carpenters. They were brilliant. The other builders were very good. All the work men were polite, hard-working and very respectful while on our premises. The workmanship so far is faultless. I am confident that if anything should go wrong we would have a satisfactory outcome. Family and friends are very impressed with our loft conversion comprising a huge bedroom and bathroom. All in all we are very happy that we chose LMB as our contractor.

Overall a very good experience.
The project overran (which is to be expected of any building project) but communication was solid throughout and the final end product we are very happy with.
Brandon who undertook the structural work was in particular excellent and I could not praise him highly enough. The 'finishing' of the project dragged due to general market unavailability of a carpenter which was a shame.
Mark the project manager did a decent job of keeping on top of things and Philomena in the office was superb in getting things finalised at the end.
Whilst I would recommend LMB I think that if more realistic timeframes (and corresponding costings) were provided from the outset (and updated during the build) this would be highly beneficial in managing client expectations.

The team where excellent, completely the floor, dorma, stairs and internal wall within 3 weeks of starting. Great touch with all of the teams through a WhatsApp group chat.

I chose lmb on recommendation from a close friend and it was a pleasure dealing with the office staff in the early stages. They had a highly skilled and professional workforce complete the build and overall their project management could not be faulted, I had to make a couple of tough decisions regarding different designs etc but I was fully guided by the team and everything was explained fully. Overall my experience with lmb was very pleasant and could not be faulted and I would highly recommend them to everybody to consider if doing renovations due to their high quality of work.

Fantastic Conversion done by LMB great people to deal with from start to finish, explained everything about the conversion whow it would proceed step by step and kept us up to date at all times, we had reservations regarding the addition of the en-suite bathroom, but what a difference it has made the products used and the finishing detail right down to the mastic sealant done to match the colours of the bathroom great job all round guys money well spent

I have to say that from the moment we called LMB to do our loft conversion to the time they completed the work can only be described as the most professional friendly and comprehensively straight forward build we have ever experienced.

We have had a number of works undertaken over the years on a number of properties, however LMB have been by far the best.

LMB assigned us a dedicated Project Manager in Mark Graham-Sharif. This simple addition to the LMB team made our project run so smoothly.
As with any large projects there are always hurdles and obstacles encountered but what's most impressive is the manner in which the LMB team worked with us to resolve them.

From the office team to project manager and the build team were all simply fantastic.

We are very happy to leave this review and would whole heartedly reccomended LMB to anyone for any building project.

Great experience with Lee and the team,even the communication via the WhatsApp group was spot one,we were kept in the loop all the way through the project,the office staff were so polite and easy to deal with too,would definitely be recommending these amazing guys to friends and family in the future!

Nightmare experience with this company when my parents used them to build their loft! Project was delayed for months! Lee Murphy rang them before the project started to demand more money for timber and steel along with a pre-start payment before he would start it and was rude and condescending. There were several major issues on the project. Lee Murphy refused to answer his phone and only contacted them to demand payments. All work was subcontracted out creating issues getting them back to the property. A quick Google search revealed that LMB Lofts (the previous incarnation of this company) was liquidated by Lee Edward Murphy with massive debts in late 2017. Ignore all fake and deceptive reviews on this and other review platforms designed to encourage you to part with your hard earned money. Thoroughly unscrupulous and unpleasant owner. To be avoided at all costs! Caveat emptor. Please note the reply below from the company is not truthful at no stage were my parents offered their deposit back which was 25%. This seems like a lot of money to pay Lee Murphy to manage a project. In truth, project management was non existent, communication was poor and work was shoddy. I checked the previous company on Companies House and it was insolvent liquidation with debts of more than one million pounds clearly evidenced in the Statement of Affairs signed by Lee Murphy and not as stated below.

LMB completed our Loft Conversion in February 2022 - we can't fault the process, from start to finish everything ran so smoothly, we are so happy with the end result. “We were sold on LMB from the start with a great brochure and marketing material and a visit and chat directly from Lee to build our loft conversion. The price was competitive and there were no hidden costs which was something we were initially concerned about when embarking on the project. The builders themselves were an pleasure to have in the house, despite lockdown and home schooling. They built the loft to a high standard and were clearly very experienced and were able to use their experience to help provide us with advice on the design and layout. The other tradesmen (Plumber, electrician, tiler, carpenter) all did their job to a good standard and tidied and hoovered up every night before leaving. We had some issues with a leak as a result of not choosing to have a tin hat but Lee rectified the damage. We have had our loft space now for a few months and are delighted with the space. It is light and airy and the en suite bathroom is like stepping into a hotel bathroom every day. We did have a few issues with the guttering post build but Lee and the team were able to resolve these issues and LMB also provide a 12 month guarantee as well on structural work.
