Very poor experience
Very poor experience. Rung up and gave my details, then when I past my car details they said it was marked as scrap! I’ve owned the car for 3 years and it’s only 5 years old and in perfect condition. I called DVLA who said there is no scrap marker on the car and everything is fine. I rung them back up to explain this then I heard in the background a man saying is “ is he calling again” then they put me on hold and said they will call back in 5 minutes. They never called back!

Please allow us to clarify that we rely on trusted third-party sources, including HPI, to provide us with up-to-date and accurate vehicle information as part of our industry-standard checks. In your case, the data we received from HPI indicated a marker on the vehicle, which is why we were unable to proceed at the time.
We appreciate that you have since checked with the DVLA and received different information. Unfortunately, we are required to base our decisions on the data made available to us through our authorised systems.
We also apologise if your experience with our team fell short of expectations. That is not the standard of service we strive to provide, and we will address this internally to ensure better communication in future.

Given your previous experience with us, we are surprised by your concerns regarding the interest rate. As a returning client, you were already aware of our rates, and in fact as you were good enough to use our service again, we provided a significant interest rate discount to you as a token of our appreciation for your loyalty.
Throughout the application process, we made all rates and repayments very clear. In addition to them being explained fully during the initial calls with our Loan Consultants, you were required to acknowledge each key financial element in the contract agreements by manually ticking them, including the interest rate and the total amount to be repaid.
Additionally, we conducted a terms and conditions call before finalising your loan to ensure you fully understood the rates and terms. Our aim is to offer a fast and personalised service, which includes responding to your enquiry about the interest rate and the early settlement figure within 1 working hour from it being asked.
Whilst our rates are higher than traditional lenders, we provide access to finance for those who are unable to secure funds from banks and other conventional sources. We also offer a fast turnaround on applications, with any approved loans paid out within an hour. Additionally, we allow early settlement, where you only pay for the time you keep the loan, subject to a 28-day notice period.
