Great P2P
This is a great platform for P2P transactions. I use it regularly to purchase coins. I have used it for purchasing Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash and never had any troubles with it. Of course I only deal with users that have at least one positive review. I don't do business with users who have no trading history. The Escrow, the variety of payments, and end to end encryption are the features that I like the most. Hopefully they'll add more coins in the future. Though as a platform that is based in Australia, it is not very good for Australian citizens for obvious reasons.

LocalCryptos caught a guy trying to scam me just as I noticed his suspicious behavior. They flagged him right away and blocked him from using the site, bravo LocalCryptos, 5 stars.

Me cobró gas sin hacer transacción y se pierde mucho dinero entre cambios.. quedaron en devolverme el dinero retenido por transacción que no realice y nunca lo hicieron total estafa.
He charged me for gas without making a transaction and a lot of money is lost between changes .. they agreed to return the money withheld for a transaction that he did not make and they never did it total scam

Thanks for leaving a review Jose, however it looks like there may be some confusion. LocalCryptos doesn't charge you gas. Network fees (i.e. gas) are an intrinsic component of any Ethereum transaction, and these network fees are paid to miners, not LocalCryptos. Every cryptocurrency wallet in existence requires a network fee to broadcast a transaction, as that is how miners are incentivized to add your transaction to the blockchain.
Yes, network fees in Ethereum are costly right now, simply because the Ethereum network as a whole is congested. LocalCryptos has no control over network fees.

A slow way of buying bitcoin
I used local cryptos as British banks won't allow me to buy bitcoin, this was my first time at buying bitcoin, you do have to barter as some charges are quite high, do be careful though as I did come across one that wanted vouchers for JD sports in exchange for bitcoin, obviously a scammer, also don't send any money until the bitcoin has been released to the escrow, this keeps you safe, I did find the whole process very slow, taking several hours to complete one transaction, that's why I've given 3 stars.
