Horrible company
Horrible company. Use any other place to get deals. These guys will not honor anything. They take your money and run. No customer service help and they make you feel horrible when they make a mistake.

Business out of Business - Not great customer service. We ordered a coupon for $30. With a discount, it cost us $10.50. We went to use it last night. (It expires in December - so about 8 months from now.) The business still has the signage out, but apparently was bought out by another company that had no intention of honoring the coupon. I contacted Local Flavor and they said "Our Finance department removes credit card processing records from our systems within 60 days from the date of purchase as per the agreed-upon policy." Local Flavor apparently gave us "site credit" for the $10.50 (which is why I gave two stars instead of one star) toward another local flavor coupon. I haven't tried to use it yet. Most of their coupons are not useful for us, so I don't know when we will use it.
My husband and I went to use a certificate for The Gourmet at Kenilworth.
When the server came over, I told him I had seen Fish and Chips on their website, but I could not seem to locate it on the menu. He simply took the menu, pointed to the left bottom corner, said it was there, and it was $17.00 - so we ordered two.
Imagine our surprise when the server told us that the restaurant denied the certificate because we did not order an entree. I was shocked that because Fish and Chips at $17.00 was not listed under Entree but Light Fare, they would not honor the certificate. I am sorry, I think paying $17.00 is an entree price. I agree that I missed For Entrée Only, but I thought we were ordering an entree
When we sent a message to Local Flavor, the denied our request for a refund or another certificate to use somewhere else. I wrote again and this was their response:
“While we hear your frustration understand this information (For Entrée's Only) is not only part of the certificate language that you failed to read it is part of the fine print language on the deal before even purchasing as well.
We understand that You feel "Fish and Chips' Should be an entree however it is indeed a light Fare in this establishment and we have no say over that!” While we are sorry to see you go we are happy to obliged an account closure if you indeed no longer want this account.” So much for customer service.
Needless to say, I have closed my account at Local Flavor.
Bought a voucher for one of the local restaurant in March, 2020. Pandemic hit and the restaurant was temporarily closed. I called LocalFlavor, asking them to maybe give me credit for the amount because no one was sure when things will get better and voucher may expire.
Fast forward to 2021, things gets better (voucher is expired), I went to restaurant and they refused to take the voucher at Paid value (forget about promotional value)? Called Localflavor and they said, they cant do anything.
So someone has my money but i didn't get the service. Localflavor refused to help at all and only thing they say is, vendor should take the voucher (i thank them for this rubbish response).
