Replacement roofer successfully fixed the roof
After Royce Roofing Ltd completed the work, the roof leaked badly on two separate occasions. Rainwater came directly into the house, spread across the floor and reached the electrical installation. The electrical protection tripped and the property lost power, creating a serious risk of electric shock and fire.
Another company, Local Roofer, had to remove and replace the defective roofing work. Their team worked very hard and even sacrificed their Sunday to complete the urgent repairs on time. They installed a continuous new membrane, new treated timber battens and proper lead flashing.
We had another period of heavy rain today, but this time no water entered the house and there were no electrical problems. This shows the replacement work has successfully resolved the leak.
I am extremely grateful to Local Roofer for making the property safe and watertight. Unfortunately, this experience has further confirmed my concerns about the quality and completeness of the work carried out by Royce Roofing Ltd.
