Order No. 730141133 I bought your service, "car rental", which included insurance for glass and tires. When delivering the car, the agent saw that there was a screw stuck in the tire and forced us to sign a "defect certificate", although tire damage was already included in the car rental price. When we arrived to rent the car, your employee told us to buy additional insurance against theft and accident for 280e. This is unfair, because such insurance for a "Panda" car costs only 60e. Therefore, we will insure ourselves with another insurance. The employees of "Locauto" at Fujimino Airport are dishonest.

A high-level rental service, very attentive to the customer. We received a car of a higher class than we ordered. The cars are in very good condition, practically new.
We had no problem dropping off the car at the other airport.

Staff was very helpful. I got a brand new car and good service. return was simple and easy at the airport. Will definetly book from locauto again.

We always use Locauto - or partners like Alamo - as we normally get great service and bef´nefit from them being internatiol. However in Rome and Naples we have received not only the worst imaginable service but have also been directly cheated and lied to:

Our Locauto rental car broke down (EPC and engine error, engine speeder malfunctioning) Friday the 26th.

We called Locautos emergency number who kept hanging up on us, because we spoke English. When we finally got through, an operator told us he would send a tow and as it was Xmas we unfortunately would have to take a TAXI all the way to Napoli to get a new car but that it would naturally get reimbursed upon arrival.

The tow-truck driver called a local taxi for us so we could get to Napoli, as the operator had instructed us to. In Napoli Locauto plainly and with no excuse said that they had no car and never gave reimbursement. A call to the same emergency number confirmed the reimbursement agreement, but we have never received the reimbursement. After a couple of hours wait we were given a FIAT Panda - so not just downgraded but only got a car solely due to the fact that we sat down and refused to leave the office.

In other words: 
We spent an entire day ( +9 hours) and spent 620 € on a TAXI ( booked by them) to get downgraded to a FIAT Panda by rude employees.

Update:
Today we received an email that the handling process may tale longer than expected. It is an exact copy of the mail we received a month ago. So no progress...

Great staff

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting a car, most specifically returning a rental car. We arrived 10 minutes past the return time and within the 15 minute grace period because the light for low tire pressure was on for most of our drive and we had to stop multiple times to check it. When we arrived to the garage, Paulo could not hide his disdain for his job, nor for women. When I made the reasonable request that Paulo acknowledge the dashboard light, he demanded the keys, and refused to comment on it while pretending to not understand my Italian or English. When I would not do as he demanded, he threw a tempter tantrum like a petulant child and refused to check us in until two other customers were helped. I have photographic evidence of the persistent light and of Paulo taking multiple customers who came after me and before he checked us in. When he finally checked the car he turned the light for low tire pressure off and pretended like we didn't have an issue. He also tried to charge us double for multiple line items until my son pointed it out and he changed it. I even called the police who said it had happened before and offered to take a report for me. They are still trying to charge us over $500 for a one-day car rental as a result of his bizarre and misogynistic behavior because it caused a delay that he claimed made us late enough to charge us for another day. Stay far-far-far away from this company for as long as Paulo is working there. If I could give negative stars I would.

Excellent service! My booked supplier refused to give me a car and came last minute and Locauto was kind and accommodating. And helped me out.

Clean car, efficient pickup , good counter support.
Area for improvement is with 3rd party booking partners and the offering of insurance that does not seem to align with locauto desk. As A customer I purchased full insurance while booking, only to find that at pickup it was not encouraged and was suggested I purchased full insurance insurance locally . I now understand , but this clarity of insurance with your partners during booking sold be made clearer.

Everything was perfect. Specially I should mention that representative man at office FCO airport. He was very politely and helpfull. I want to say thank you to him . But I faced another problem with road assistance. I did not like. We called indicated number several times , i could not get any help. We had problem with find place of return car to locauto in malpensa. It was very disappointed for us

Because changed the car I had rented in Palermo (Italy) for a bigger (and better) one that can fit all my luggage with no additional cost.
And in Rome, they rented me another car at a very low cost without any reservation.
The cars and the and the service was exceptional.

Locauto is one of the best Car rentals I have been in contact with. Their service is excellent and prices are very reasonable. We were served by Marco at FCO airport and he with his colleague were so nice and professional in helping us to find a best solution for our rent. Even after first evening robbery and broken window we got a new car. I would highly recommend them for any car needs you may have. (Y)

Fast service, new cars

So, for my car rental, I chose Locauto. And honestly, it was a truly pleasant experience. Everything proceeded smoothly, entirely without any trouble, very hassle-free! The employees were also remarkably friendly and helpful. The car itself was practically brand new, very clean, and without a single scratch. I drove it for about 700 kilometers, starting from Fiumicino Airport and exploring southern Italy, and the car performed perfectly. Even returning it was quick and straightforward. Yes, a very good experience overall! Definitely a recommendation.
