A good experience with Locauto
Although you have to pre-register at their airport desk and then either walk 10 mins with your luggage or catch the busy but regular shuttle bus, once at the car rental compound itself the collection process was quick & straightforward.
Pleasant & helpful staff, and an excellent car just as booked. And most importantly just as efficient when returning the car, with no drama about alleged damage ! Overall, a good experience and would use them again.

The information about the car's location at the airport was very inaccurate; we were given a different car than the one we had reserved; the speed limiter was activated on the car upon departure without our prior knowledge, making the drive out of the airport very dangerous.

Very disappointing experience with…
Very disappointing experience with Locauto.
I returned the car with the same fuel range that was displayed when I picked it up. Despite this, the company charged me additional fees without providing any valid explanation.
When I contacted customer service, they claimed that the vehicle's driving range varies depending on the driver's driving style. However, this explanation makes no sense in my case. I was still at the Locauto rental location, with the vehicle stationary and only starting the engine, before I had even begun driving. This means that the vehicle had not yet traveled any distance and was completely stationary. Therefore, my driving style could not possibly have affected the displayed driving range.
They charged me €27 for fuel, calculated at €2.66 per liter, a price that doesn't even exist at local gas stations. On top of that, they charged me nearly €60 as a refueling service fee simply for having one of their employees refuel the vehicle.
I contacted customer service to dispute these charges, but they failed to provide any meaningful justification or attempt to resolve the issue.
The customer service is practically nonexistent and completely unhelpful.
I strongly recommend avoiding this company. Be very careful about unexpected charges after returning your rental car. Based on my experience, I will never rent from Locauto again.

We appreciate the opportunity to clarify how fuel charges are calculated, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions agreed upon at the time of booking and vehicle pick-up.
Please note that our fuel checks at both pick-up and drop-off do not rely on the estimated range/distance remaining shown on the trip computer (which constantly fluctuates based on recent driving styles). Instead, they are strictly measured by the physical fuel gauge segments (bars/ticks) on the dashboard.
If the gauge segments at return are lower than they were at the start of the rental, the system automatically registers a missing amount of fuel.
We take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve our communication.
We hope to have another opportunity to earn your trust back.

Good experience.
The waiting was too long, and all chairs for the waiting were occupied. Apart of that, the process was easy. The shuttle outside is too small for so many people who were waiting, I honestly don't understand how are they not expecting theses amount of tourists. The car was new and clean. It was Easy to return it.

Smooth, fast and great value – highly recommend!
From pick-up to drop-off, everything went perfectly. The handover was quick and efficient, the car was in great condition, and the price was very reasonable. We also rented a child car seat, which was exactly what we needed and worked without any issues. The whole experience was stress-free and professional. Would definitely rent with Locauto again!
