We were very satisfied with the hassle-free process and handover of the car, as well as with the change we made to return the car at the hotel in Abano.
It wasn’t exactly easy to find the LOCAUTO office. A better description and larger signs would help.
Also, I had booked a VW or something similar. The Peugeot was okay, but it has little in common with the comfort of a new mid-size VW.

Easy to rent and very close to Tran station

Both the vehicle pick-up and return process was quick and easy. The staff was excellent, and we received clear instructions on how to use the car and the necessary paperwork. The vehicle was in perfect condition. All good.

We used Locauto 3 Times while in Italy, great experiece and found overall to be simplest hire company to deal with.

It was an overall good experience in the Padova Station Office, the people there was super helpful, all went according to the online booking and they gave me great advice. The car was optimal for our travel, super new and well maintained. We returned it at Milano Malpensa, and it also went smooth and fast.

I ordered a Golf and got a Puma in very good condition, with a GPS as bonus. Very fast check-in and check-out, pretty easy to get to and from, nice staff... All very good, really... Maybe the covered parking lot is a bit tight 😉 I would gladly do this again.

Pick up took rather a long time. Navigation system (which i has asked for) required a Google Map connection via a mobile phone in order to work. Ridiculous. People were friendly and helpful it must be said. Drop off at Venice airport was not easy. Difficult to find and on top of a building in blazing 38c heat.

Beware of this place! I paid in advance and couldn't rent when arrived. I was advised by Locauto to rent a second time, and request a refund afterward. It was an absolute hoax. I ended up using a car and paying for two. Huge mistake going to this company. I got a generic response from another review thinking they'd mend things, but got the same policy-ridden excuse. Lesson learned! I could go to any other renting company. Do not do business with Locauto. Avoid them like the plague.

I had a very positive experience renting from Locauto at Padova Stazione. The agency is conveniently located for people who are already in town or arriving at the station. The compact hybrid Fiat with manual transmission suited my needs and was economical. It wasn't brand new, but it was in perfect condition and very clean. I also found the price to be very reasonable. The Locauto staff are nice and helpful. The only issue was that I needed an invoice, and it took several days and messages to receive a response. Overall, it was a very good experience.
