I was given a car with under-inflated tyres. One of them, in particular, quickly proved to be a real nuisance, practically ruining my holiday and costing me an extra 20 euros. Never again, Locauto!

We booked a full coverage package, and at first everything was nice. You get a bit smaller car than you originally rented or are displayed that feels a bit like it nap. When returning the car, we had supposedly done a small damage under the car, that was shown us. That was a bit tricky, because you get the car in a dark parking lot at the airport and you return it somewhere outside and then a real scrutiny is done. We were able to talk our way out of it, but it didn’t feel nice and we were not sure that we would’ve gotten out of it, if we would not have had full courage for anything anyway.
Also, it was very hard to find it the airport in Rome

There was a 10 minute wait checking out the car at FCO airport but other than that, the car was new and clean and the car-seat was great. Check-in was quick and easy with good directions for returning the vehicle.

Really great experience except it was a bit frustrating that I could not use my virtual credit card to pay for the car.

ALways a pleasure to rent with a local car rental company. You do not have to have a credit card and they are quite cheap compare to that. They have smooth deliveries and returns. However, this time I had to wait in a cue for 45 minutes which is not my usual experience and is something I feel that the company should communicate better with the costumer before so they can include all this wait in their travel organisation. They also do not list clearly that you actually have to have a physical drivers licence and bank card... which is not so common any longer in the western world..... so that could be an area of improvement.
