I have ordered an alarm in 29 dec 2024 and still i didn't get it i send an email after every 3 months to inform them i didn't get my product, i got the same answer every time, appologies for the delay at there supplier and ik will come end off the month but it never came, my last contact with them is still not answerd.
I still want my alarm but i think i will never receive it

Having not received my order in over a month I have attempted to contact Lock Alarm by the email and contact form on their website (there is no number given). I've not heard back in 2 weeks, and it's now 6 weeks since I placed the order
EDIT - turns out the only way to get a reply from them is to leave a bad review here! I have checked my spam folder and I never received an email on 30th December, nor any reply to messages since. Apparently the order is delayed

As an ex-police officer I had come across Lock Alarm over a decade ago when we were promoting shed/garage security as part of our crime prevention initiatives. Now retired and living in Thailand I recently saw some mentions on an expats forum recommending the cable lock alarms and was delighted to hear they are still available. Having recently experienced an intruder onto my premises I placed an order on the official online store. I asked for one of the locks to be customised to a specific length for me and for some extra brackets to be included so I could have the flexibility to move the locks to different locations. The order was enacted perfectly and they even keyed alike all the locks which was a nice added bonus.

I used ChatGPT to find solutions for a very specific security requirement I have at my villa in Thailand and the primary recommendation was this cable alarm. It’s the first time I’ve bought anything via AI. I have to say I’ve been immensely impressed by the service and the product provided. Full marks to the manufacturer for furnishing users with such easy to follow instructions and for their handy installation tips online. All too often these days I find instruction manuals supplied with products are incredibly difficult to navigate because of poor translation and/or poor skills of the author. The ones that came with my lock alarm were excellent. I have successfully used the device for a few weeks and it functions really well for what I need it for. I will update this review in future if anything significant changes but for now I’m a very satisfied customer.

This device is an essential in my opinion
I previously bought a lock alarm mini in Germany and it lasted for about 10 years before it finally stopped working. Since then I moved to Thailand and I couldn't find it for sale here so I ordered it online. Delivery was by airmail and took about 3 weeks which I thought was acceptable. I notice a few improvements to the new design compared to the one I had previously but the functionality is the same. For anyone who does a lot of traveling this device is an essential in my opinion

Scam - 10 months and still no product or refund
Placed an order in August of 2024. It’s now May of 2025 and I still haven’t received anything.
Multiple requests for updates on my order have gone answered, eventually after multiple emails I’ve gotten 2 responses saying there was a delay and promising a new delivery date.
At this point I’m accepting I got scammed and lost my money.
Reply to the below. They stated in an email that my “first shipment” was lost, however that I had never been notified of said first shipment, nor did I ever receive any tracking information. Also found out that they flagged this review to try to get it removed. They also claim they answered every email I sent, I went back and checked, they answered less than half of the inquires I sent over 10 months of waiting.
I would’ve loved to have actually received the product. They did reply they will issue a refund finally but that it could take up to 28 days…

Ordered Feb 18 - no news as of April 2.
Ordered Feb 18, 2025, and received confirmation email -- great!
Now it is April 2, 2025 and no word at all from Lock Alarm. I have tried emailing info at lockalarm.com as their website suggested - not a peep. I have tried filling out their "contact us form" - no response.
Update April 3 - just got an email from lockalarm indicating an ETA of the end of April.

Update May 15 - the lock alarm arrived April 21, thank you. It looks like it will do the job. I suggest that periodic updates from the vendor to the customers about ETA would result in happier customers.

Nothings Changed
Wish I'd read these reviews before buying. Nothing seems to have changed, false promises of delivery, parts not available. Item still not arrived
Edit - it appears that lockalarm reported my review as inflammatory to get it removed. Trustpilot have reinstated. It appears this is a common tactic.

I’ve owned my alarm for well over a year and in my opinion it is a very good security product considering the affordable price. I had reason to contact their technical team a couple of times; first when the alarm was new and then more recently when I needed to replace the battery (I had carelessly misplaced the instructions). Both occasions I received a prompt response and exactly the help I needed. Highest commendation to this business and its products.

Much faster to use the live chat not the query form
I initially used the query form when I required assistance with the locking alarm I just bought. After waiting a few hours and having not received a reply I went back on their website and stumbled across a chat function. Colleen from their support team was brilliant and a smooth resolution was achieved to my query. Incidentally a day later I received an email reply from my original query. The deduction of one star is because I feel they should make the live chat much more obvious on their site.

Nifty bit of kit
Funny how you randomly come across things on the internet. I didn't set out to buy a lock or an alarm but it attracted my interest when mentioned in a blog I read. It's a really nifty bit of apparatus and boy that siren is super loud. Delivery was pretty fast too considering Covid disruptions.

I needed to order urgently because of a tight deadline on a project. Prior to ordering I contacted the company and asked them if they could deliver the day after next. They put me in contact with one of their sales reps who arranged to ship my order overnight by FedEx. Really appreciate all their efforts, and as an additional comment their locks/alarms are top stuff too.

I won one of their clever security devices in a magazine competition. The device I received from the magazine had the accessories missing. I contacted the magazine at first but they were unable to assist so I reached out direct to the manufacturer. They were very understanding and although I only asked for the accessory pack they in fact sent me a whole brand new device (the updated version). Extremely happy and commend the wonderful (customer) service
