After a visit from Lockdales to Brightlingsea in May 2025, I found myself disappointed with the lack of customer care. Your staff were friendly enough but seemed completely uninterested in most things people were taking to be valued. I was not the only person who felt this way. What is business to you may be of sentimental value to others and these days people may be forced In to selling loved items! Fortunately I got a very good price for mine from another source
I attended the valuation day in Northampton and was a little sceptical owing to a bad experience I had with Vintage Cash cow (do NOT ever go near them). I brought 4 items of gold jewellery with me and sold 3 for a reasonable and fair price. The staff interacted with me and I found them very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
