Beware of Locker down
Beware, terrible customer service. Would definitely not recommend. I used them a few years ago for my Tundra and was pleased with both the product and the service. Purchased a safe for my new truck in June didn’t receive for over three months couldn’t get anyone to call back and give updates. Sent my order three month later missing accessories and now will not return my calls or emails and definitely not the quality product I received five years ago. Now I am out the accessories and the money. Won’t use again!
Company in bankruptcy
Ordered on 8/2/24 and card charged on 8/5/24. Never received anything. Emailed on 8/29/24 with no response. Emailed the owner & got this response today, 9/29/24.
"I’m sorry to inform you that we lost our parts fab shop and can no longer get product. After trying everything we could, we have been forced into bankruptcy. We have exhausted all of our funds and suggest that you dispute the charge with your credit card company.

Waiting since August 8th
I usually don’t write reviews but something needs to be said. I’ve called emailed and just about started using smoke signals and haven’t received any response from Locker down on the status of my order. It’s currently the 23rd of September i ordered August 8th. I wouldn’t care and wouldn’t be writing this negative review if they at least called or emailed me acknowledging a lead time but this is poor customer service. I’m a Police Officer and I need the trunk vault for my equipment and I’ve been relying on a non bolted down safe I keep in my trunk for the past 4 months. Update 9/25/24 just learned Lock’er down has gone out of business and they are not turning off purchases on their website or notifying anyone please read this review so you don’t make the mistake of purchasing (YOU WONT GET THE PRODUCT)

Charged never got an email on updated order status. Phoned told that i cancelled order. Seem not to care. Everyone i have talked to with product likes them. I will never know.

Your website offered a version for my new truck, you accepted my order and took my money, THEN advised me the item was on backorder. Then when I sent you an email asking if there were other versions (bio & code) available, no one responded.
Product was never shipped
Product was never shipped. I tried 3 different emails and 2 different phone numbers to contact the company including the owners cell phone but they have not returned any calls or emails. This company is a scam. Numerous people are having the same problem if you look at the company Facebook site.
Well Constructed, Fit Perfectly
Ordered online. Received it in 3 days, Very well packaged, Fit perfectly in our 2020 Chevrolet 3500. Very well constructed. It is exactly what we were looking for.
No Response
I ordered a long gun safe on August 6th. I’ve sent multiple inquiries over the last 3 weeks asking for an estimated delivery date and cannot get any response so if I don’t receive a response to the email i sent this morning, I will be disputing the charge and having it reversed.

Kept getting excuses from whoever the girl that answers the phone. This is a scam company. Take your $ and string you along. I should have read reviews before ordering. The credit card company is going after the $ in a dispute. Shame on you for treating your customers that way.
Approximately 6 weeks and order hasn't shipped.
I placed my order on July 28th, and as of today (September 6th) my order has not shipped. I have not received a response from either of my 2 emails. I did get through via phone on August 6th and was told their fabricator was behind and it would be about 3 weeks. I've tried calling 7x since the beginning of September, but haven't been able to reach a person. I left 1 voice mail on September 4th and have not received a call back. I'm understanding of the fabricating delay, but not from the lack of response with it going on 6 weeks from the time I placed my order.
Great service and speedy delivery
I was out of town on vacation and needed a replacement lock quick, fast and in a hurry. I paid for overnight shipping and it got to me when it was supposed to and was packaged as advertised. Thank you.
Poor communication and slow production
There has been a complete lack of communication. I received an email that I placed the order and that's it. It was not communicated at the time of purchase that there was going to be a 4-5+ week wait. I created an account so I could try to look up the order status, but the order did not get linked to my account. When calling there is no IVR or message saying who you are calling, even the lady that answered didn't state the company name. She looked up my order based on the caller ID (?) and said it wasn't in production yet due to materials. Hopefully the quality of the box is better than the ordering and status process.

Further, I have left messages for a return call for the last three days with no response.
If no response by Monday, I will cancel the card charge and assuming you are no longer in business.
Worst communication and customer service …
Worst communication and customer service ever. After about a week I called and was told there was a 4 week lead time. I’ve been waiting 5 weeks and haven’t gotten my product. Emailed, no response. Called and Desiree answered, said she was at a doctors appt and asked me to call back the following day. I did, Steve answered and said he had to call the powder coater and would call or email me right back with an answer…. Nothing. Since then I have called every day and left messages for 3 days with no answer or reply. At this point if I can get them on the phone and they haven’t shipped my safe I will cancel my order. But based on other reviews I may be better just disputing it with my CC company. Over $500 and this is how you do business?!?! Buyer beware.
Overall it's just been a great…
Overall it's just been a great experience. I placed my order on a Sunday, got my safe on a Thursday. You can tell out of the box it's sturdy, good thickness of steel all around, solid welds, nice powder coat like finish (not sure exactly what it is). I've had mine a little over a year and a 1/2 and haven't had any problems. I only have two slight criticisms, some of the printed instructions could use updating, it's easy enough that once you have everything laid out, you can figure out what goes where, but a sign of solid instructions is that they mitigate any of those questions. I opted for the tubular key, it gets snagged sometimes either putting it in the lock, or taking it out, it's not terrible, but I do worry a little bit in an SHTF situation where adrenaline might be rushing and it takes just them few extra seconds to get the key to work right. Then again, overall a good experience, great product and solid customer service.

Shipping we payed for a 3 day shipment that was 60.00 dollars we received it a week later that’s not a 3 day shipping we were going out of town the day it arrived I would love to get that back again that’s not a 3 days shipping
