Terrible service

Terrible service. Ordered a simple shelf 6 weeks later and after contacting them 6 times they told me item was not in stock. Never again. Steer clear from this company.

Excess packaging.

The item was delivered on time and works fine but was very excessively and unnecessarily packed in a large box. A complete waste of packaging and money.

Reliable and reasonable

I have been buying from Lockhart for a few years now, they have always been reliable and reasonably priced. Communication is good, delivery is speedy and safe. Will continue to use their services.

Had basic payment issue

Had payment issue - a lockharts problem - 10 year customer - card refused...

sales:
Inept ,unhelpful , evasive - dropped on hold - don't want the business...is customers problem
credit control:
legends! couldn't have been more helpful - polite - understanding all those customer service things - problem escalated- issue resolved

seems payments going through fine out of my bank ... multiple times for one order
It shouldn't be that hard to order/pay forcups n saucers!

Supposed to be nxt day delivery but…

Supposed to be nxt day delivery but arrived 3 working days later. Told there was a courier strike bit nothing on websote when it took my.money for next day delivery. Refund of next day delivery fee declined by customer service!

Real mess

Real mess. Item has 5 to 6 day lead time on your site.
Then I get an email that is not in stock and need to be ordered.
Then, after two weeks I get an email that item is out for delivery. After not receiving it, I call the custmer service that another two weeks need to be waiting and I am not sure if that one is accurate. What a mess!

Broken ceramic dishes.

I ordered ceramic dishes.
They arrived badly packaged & broken.
I called customer service to report & was informed they were dropped into our mail room x2 days, back & Could not be refunded due to policy.
I had not received any notification of delivery or any live tracking information:- as this is NOW standard for just about any & all on line orders/deliveries.
I was advised they send a "Email, to say its out for delivery - but not when !!! ...LOCKHARTS:- all deliveries are out post dispatch, IT THE WHEN BIT THAT IS ACCTUALLY "DELIVERED" THATS IMPORTANT !! ..the world has moved on in this sector, and time your couriers did the same !
On a brighter note :- customer service reluctantly ,agreed to refund for the broken goods, hence upped rating to two star.

Just find it expensive compared to…

Just find it expensive compared to other catering websites. We used to buy everything from Lockhart, but now only items we can’t get from elsewhere. It is strange that you don’t check rivals prices as, invariably you are more expensive and sometimes by a long way.
