They have fantastic customer support

They have fantastic customer support. They answer and address all the problems so fast. They are always helpful. You feel very protected as a customer. Plus, if you compare the prices with other booking websites and apps, they are so much cheaper. My daughter had an accident at a hotel I booked through Locktrip app, and I contacted them, stated the facts, and circumstances. The hotel was found liable for the injury, and after checking with the partner provider, they have approved the compensation request. The whole process was done so fast,and they kept me updated all the time. 5 stars from me!

Stellar Customer Service

Locktrip gives great rates and awesome customer service. I have booked hotels all over the US with them with no hiccups, but my last reservation I scheduled for the wrong dates for my stay. They were able to contact the hotel for me and have MY MISTAKE sorted out with a few minutes without any extra fees. I can't thank them enough!

My experience with LockTrip has been deeply disappointing and caused considerable stress, completely disrupting my travel plans.

I booked a family stay at a price clearly displayed in BAM (Bosnia and Herzegovina Convertible Marks) and paid the deposit accordingly. Only after that, I received an email stating that the actual price was in EUR — nearly twice as high as what was originally shown. Based on the displayed price, I had already cancelled another secure reservation made through a different platform.

LockTrip acknowledged a “technical issue” in their payment processor that led to the currency being displayed incorrectly, but they failed to take real responsibility for the error or honor the price I was shown at the time of booking.

They offered a refund of my deposit (which is the bare legal minimum) and a so-called goodwill gesture of €50 in credit — but refused to provide any official case report or formal acknowledgment of fault. The alternative hotel they suggested was also well outside my budget, and other options I proposed were either dismissed or listed at a higher price than on competing platforms like Booking.com.

After wasting hours searching for new accommodations, dealing with uncertainty, and enduring unnecessary stress, I ultimately decided never to use LockTrip again. While I did receive my deposit back, the damage was already done.

Advice to future users: If you're booking with LockTrip using their “Book Now, Pay Later” model — double check the currency, and be aware that the platform may distance itself from responsibility in the event of errors that are clearly on their side.

Kind and helpful

First-time user. I had some unexpected issues after booking my stay—through no fault of the hotel or LockTrip—but their team went out of their way to help me. They were incredibly kind, quick, and effective in resolving everything.

Excellent Service

First time using LockTrip and was very hesitant about it. We had trouble with our hotel because they closed the amenities on short notice and Locktrip resolved our situation with the hotel and we were able to check out early and get refunded. Their response is very fast and they don't leave you alone. I will use LockTrip again and I highly recommend it.

Problem with extra charges at the property (not mentioned while booking)

We've had an issue with property for extra charges not mentioned in our booking. After trying (unsuccessfully) to resolve it with property, we have reached to Locktrip customer support. Their response was prompt and helpful. We got a refund for our extra expenses. (All this took only 2 days with Locktrip customer support)

I will definetely book with them again!

Really impressed!

Lots of marketing about hotel rates…

Lots of marketing about hotel rates being up to 60% cheaper than competitors... In the end through my search (which they force you to "sign up" before they reveal the prices), rates are more expensive or same price as competitors even for non chain hotels.

Excellent customer support

Fast, helpful and succesful solving the problem

We made a hotel reservation trough the Locktrip and because of illnes we weren't capable to travel, so we wanted to switch reservation for the later date. Altough the hotel was little sceptic for switching the dates, Locktrip solved the problem fast and succesful. I'm very thankful, Locktrip is doing a very good job. For sure, I'll book trough Locktrip again in the future.

Amazing experience!!

Have had amazing experience with locktrip. I have had last minute family emergency and was not able to attend my booking. I thought this would not be sorted out and I would lose out on my money but locktrip had contacted the hotel and helped me to amend my booking. Was so glad of this. Honestly a great experience and will definitely book with them again.

Nice experience

Fast customer support

Something weird happened after I booked the room and they asked for my ID card, but apparently it was just an issue in their system because I used Google Pay.

I've sent an email asking about it and the issue was fixed in 5 minutes
