Team were friendly and problem fixed. But to charge €69 to repaire a puncture is crazy €14 for the tube €56 for Labour. I don’t pay that to have my car puncture repaired.

Hi Greg, appreciate your feedback on this, and I get that it would seem like it should be cheaper than a car, especially to someone who doesn't know what the job involves.
A tube replacement on a electric scooter is a considerably more complex job that a puncture repair on a car and as such it is more expensive. We need to drop the motor out of the wheel, do the repair, refit the motor and then set the brakes up again.
Further to that, we quoted you two prices before booking in the repair, one for just the tube, and a higher price if it needed the tyre too. You gave us the go ahead and we were able to get you sorted at the lower price. That was your opportunity to say "no thanks, too expensive". In future, we can supply a tube @ €14 and send you a video showing you how to do the repair and you can give it a go.

The loco scooter is great
The loco scooter is great, my grandson loves it. The only downfall is loco use DPD for UK deliveries, a year ago when we bought a scootor for our other grandson DPD 'lost' our scootor, they sent a picture of the wrong house they said they tried to deliver to, then they said the product was damaged, then they said they didn't know where it was, it took a battle and loads of phone calls to get this sorted which resorted in a refund, well dpd tried the same thing again this time. They took a pic from across the road of our door but did not deliver, they claimed itxwas an attempted delivery.. we were in, I have a ring doorbell and no attempt to deliver was made. So we got onto loco to let them know what had happened, they were great, then i sent emails texts and made phone calls to DPD UK telling them of previous experience and what was happening again. We finally received our scootor the next day. Loco please find another delivery service, DPD are not reliable or trustworthy.

Hi Julie, thanks so much for the review, and sorry about the hardship with DPD. We do free shipping to the UK which costs us about €20 with DPD. The next cheapest options are FedEx and UPS at approximately €135. Their service would quite likely be better, but we wouldn't be in a position to pay that, and would have to pass it on to the customer who also wouldn't want to pay it. A catch 22.

They were very helpful, extremely understanding of my needs due to circumstances and very informative.
Jon Barton was the main guy from loco scooters who managed my purchase/delivery process and was able to get me sorted.
Waited about 3 to 4 weeks give or take but it was well worth the wait as the bike only took about 20 minutes to set up and so far enjoying my electric bike.
