Bought a house off Glenn Collins, their highest selling agent and I know why that is because once he gets his commission there is no more cudtomer service. Bombarded me with messages and emails asking where the deposit was as it hadn’t gone in his account. Told him repeatedly the solicitor had it but instead of bugging her for it he stressed me out. I got 3 calls in one hour about it plus other emails. He is an experienced agent so knows how it works but he was desperately wanting the money. Once he had that he never bothered with me again. Didn’t answer my email to see if he would ask the seller if we could drop some boxes in the house the day before moving. Didn’t answer me when I asked when was final walkthrough so we didn’t get that either ( is that part of his contract? I will follow up on that) and didn’t meet us on moving day with the keys, when I rang him on moving day (after not getting a text back re the keys) he said he had back to back meeting s all day and we would have to go to town from Rototuna North to get them. Meanwhile the lovely lady who sold my house, Michell Conglaves from Aritzo came to my house with the buyers for final walkthrough a few days before moving and again on move day. I am disgusted at the service from an agent who really only obviously cares about the money not the buyers or sellers as once he has sold a house it seems to be on with the next sale and don’t bother about his other duties. He cost me $120 as while my son had to drive to town for the keys he should have brought me the removal men sat outside my new house for a hour waiting for the keys.
So here’s some info for newbies buying a house through him and lodge, if you see a house you want to look at get an agent, anyone from Harcourts will do, as they work together with Lodge and ask that agent to take you through the house to look and put an offer through them, it’s free if you’re buying and that agent will do all the hard work for you and deal with Glenn and then Glenn will have to share his commission with the other agent and maybe realise treating his buyers better isn’t so bad after all

Never buy a house that posted by this company. Not recommended. My own experience was not to good first day of move after settlement no keys in the house just send us the codes over the phone Not even a single person guide you through with your house with all the keys and remotes. Helen just drop by the keys at 6pm without any explanation how to use or change the codes of the door and burglar alarmed. It was a disaster. Apart from that this company aswell promise me to have curtains in the house or blinds but ended up by giving me 3k and do it by my self and the free truck its end up they rented a hire truck as they have forgotten to booked me. Beware using this company at all cost try to go somewhere if you want a happy buying a house not like this that you have been treated like ignorant.

Hannah and Renee have managed our rental property in Hamilton. As out of town owners, they provided great communication along with extensive inspection reports, so we knew our property was in good hands. Any maintenance issues that cropped up, were handled quickly on our behalf. We would thoroughly recommend Lodge Rentals.

I looked at a property in Hamilton online and a guy named Kevin had a chat with me and said a sales person will contact me, yah right, I can only imagine how bad the deal will go if they don't even bother to contact you. Very bad business attitude

Have recently moved out of a property that lodge took over near the last months of our residency. The house we were in had a leaky roof for over 2 years (thanks to qrm the previous property manager) and lodge did make the effort to fix the leaks however. In the time I was there and lodge organized trades to come I was not contacted or given any kind of notification that they would be there, this really annoyed me as I would have someone knocking on my door at 8 o'clock in the morning. The up side to this is I would chat with the trades out of interest and everyone siad, even the painter who was sent to paint over the moldy, water loged ceiling, "this house is a waste of our time and does not meet healthy home standards and should be demolished or completely renivated". The cherry on top is that we were renting it for 770 a week, and now they're asking 845. Disgusting! To put that in perspective we now rent a warm flash house in pukete for 690. What the actual hell lodge? Also we have been out for more than two weeks and lodge has failed to make any contact about our bond, despite making continuous efforts to make contact. Not happy, glad we don't have to deal with them anymore. Do NOT buy 46 hultain street!!! It's not safe and isn't worth your money.

Worst professional experience received from Lodge agent Paul Conway in the Hamilton area. When you hear this name, ask for another agent. I do not have any issue with the lodge group and would recommend them any day of the week, however, should you come across the name of Paul Conway, I would suggest seeking alternative agent.

Neil has recently acted as my agent on the sale of my property by auction. Right from the start, Neil was highly professional and kept me informed of every step along the way. He provided me with a schedule and kept to that schedule right to the day of the auction. Having never sold by auction before, Neil explained the whole process and I felt that he was guiding me in the right direction and as a result, I got a great price on auction day. I would thoroughly recommend Neil to anyone looking to sell their property. A true professional from start to finish.

Neil Shaw marketed my townhouse in Hamilton and I was very pleased with all aspects of the sale process. He communicated with me by phone and email on a regular basis and I appreciated the frequent updates, particularly as I wasn't able to be in Hamilton for most of the sale period. His professionalism was excellent at all times and I thoroughly recommend Neil if you are looking for a good agent.

Purchased two houses from lodge. First
house received some vouchers from buying at Auction and a gift card from the estate agent. Second house we received a key ring. All of our properties are managed by lodge and for someone providing an ongoing cash flow for the company I felt a little better than a key ring would have been more appropriate. 3.5 Stars.

Looks after our rental with the same pride we have in it. Allows us to do better things with our time.
