Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Lola’s cupcake no one can match it. But the brownie was soo hard I had to throw it away. Safe to say I won’t buy it again.

Lola's cupcakes are always delicious, we ordered some for a friend party. The picture once were super cute, the picture print was well made and nevertheless they tasted amazing. Customer service is good and everyone is polite at the shop

Overwhelming sweetness.. great presentation and customer service
The cake was tasty, but once again, like previous birthday cakes I've ordered or tried, way too sweet.
I've tried many flavours over the years - salted caramel, velvet, pistachio (the ramadan version 2024) and more - and the feedback from friends and family is always the same: it's hard to finish a whole piece because of the sweetness. It's not just the caramel cake; even the other flavours were overly sugary.
That being said, the presentation was exactly as expected from the picture, which was great!
However, due to the overwhelming sweetness, I’ll probably consider purchasing from somewhere else for my next celebration.

I am sorry to hear that you found you cake to be too sweet. Buttercream is our sweetest icing but we can make options with mascarpone or cream cheese icing which will be less sweet. These would include our red velvet or carrot cake.

The cake was very delicious…as I expected from Lola’s & I really enjoyed this sweet treat on my special day! The service that I received at the London Bridge store was lovely..! Rude staff.
I was being served by a lovely gentleman until the lady (also working at Lola) rudely interrupted and said I am not eligible for my birthday cake. The gentleman pointed out on the system that she is eligible it says so here. She continued to disagree and got angry and started to serve the lady behind me. The cake I had pointed out, she ended up giving to the person behind me. I do not eat Oreo’s and I did not request for the cake given. The lady behind me was given a choice before the gentleman got a chance to serve me my choice by the lady working. This left me so disheartened and upset.
