I gave 4stars only because of the greetings on the Wheelchair. The service overall was 100% apart from the voice.
I have a bigger wheelchair and it would have been difficult for me to go around on the train. The electric scooter made it all worthwhile. I went for a recording at ITV studio and I wish there was a way to turn the voice note down. Thank you for everything. Will definitely come back.

Express wheelchair was very efficient and easy, we got the wheelchair we needed on time and the process was fast. It did help my dad to enjoy London. I highly recommend

I visited London between 8 and 12 February. I live in Gibraltar and we decided that, rather than take my own wheelchair on the plane, we would see if we could hire one in London. I am so glad we discovered London Wheelchair Hire online. All our communications by email with Michelle and Zoe were responded to promptly and efficiently and with helpful advice. The wheelchair was delivered to and collected from Gatwick Airport exactly as arranged. We would highly recommend this company to anyone considering using it. On a lighter note, my only concern with the electric wheelchair was the lady who greeted me every time I switched on and issued warnings every time I reversed. I wish I could have found a way of switching her off! Despite this, I will definitely be using London Wheelchair Hire on my next visit to London!

Honestly I had little confidence at the beginning, but quickly all my questions became clear with a perfect service, at all times they attended to my requests and communication was fluent to inform all the steps of the rental process.

Due to my wife's recent knee problem, here physio advised us on Saturday late afternoon to have a wheelchair for an unavoidable day trip to London on the Monday using the train to/from King's Cross Station. Lots of help and advice when I booked the hire by 'phone on Sunday morning. On Monday, the service provided through the day by the delivery/collection representative was exemplary. We needed to re-arrange the return travel to an earlier time and he was able to juggle his programme to make an earlier collection. He took time to help us at the station to find the customer service desk to obtain station wheelchair assistance. Also, My wife suffers badly with anxiety related to travel among other things and was in a state all day. The company representative responded to this issue and could not have been kinder and more helpful on a personal level.

My wife had a fall recently and initially we thought she would be OK for our trio to London. However when we got there her mobility wasn't what we had hoped. So at short notice we hired a wheelchair from London Wheelchair Rental.
We found them extremely professional, the wheelchair was delivered on time as promised and was collected from our hotel after we departed for the airport.
I would have no hesitation in recommending London Wheelchair Rental to anyone who needs a wheelchair.

Excellent scooter and great customer care.

Fantastic service, highly recommended! We hired a wheelchair for my grandmother as she was visiting for the holidays, and we got the wheelchair ready and delivered literally the next morning which was super convenient. The wheelchair in itself was really good, the price was good, and customer service & driver would always go above and beyond when it comes to communication and services. Very humane, will definitely use again when the need comes!

Excellent wheelchair supplied. Light and strong and travelled all over Thailand with it with no problem! Reaonably priced; delivered and collected to my office right on time with efficiency and courtesy. Only slight regret is that unable to collect from and return to your depot, as had done on several occasions previously. Meant that I had to wait around for delivery/collection rather than arrange to come to warehouse in my own time. Apart from that, really happy with the service. Thank you.

Delivery and collection were perfect, ease of use and the communication was excellent. Having the wheelchair for the period that we did made life so much easier and knowing that the collection was going to be at the point of departure made the day so much easier to plan.

I hired a wheelchair for my elderly mother to use over Christmas. I put the wrong dates on the hire form-this was no problem. The very helpful man I spoke to on the phone changed my dates.
The chair arrived and was perfect. A great company to deal with.

IGNORE THE "CHEESED OFF" NAME!! I rarely review things and I was REALLY cheesed off with another company when I created that name...apologies for any mislead on this review.....which is:
Easy to do on line, but equally helpful if speaking on the phone, which I had to do on a few occasions due to the constantly changing situation we found ourselves in. Always helpful. Always responsive and I made lots of last minute extensions, changes of collection point etc.

We hired from London Express for our week in London, they delivered to our hotel and it was already there when we arrived.
We travelled a long way by train and decided bringing our daughters wheelchair would be very difficult with luggage, she suffers with EDS, autism and Crohn's disease so she could manage the travelling as the majority of the day was seated.
I chose London express because unlike other wheelchair companies they actually charge on a day by day hire as you would expect. Unbelievably many of the others that pop up first on the search engine charge a minimum of 2 WEEKS even if you are hiring for only 24 hours!!! Which is disgusting and seems to be taking advantage of some of the most vulnerable people, however London Express charge only for the days you use it.
On the day of return we were actually waiting for our taxi to take us to the train station when the chap came to collect the chair, he was lovely, he checked everything was ok, that we had a nice time, we told him we loved how the chair folded down to get into smaller boots, and that we will definitely use them next time we are in London again.

Excellent service - all delivered and picked up on time with very helpful driver.

The experience was great. The wheelchair was delivered on time to the right location and picked up promptly and the staff were also really nice. The wheelchair really made our trip to London possible.

My partner's regular mobility scooter broke, so we came to this company in an emergency. Terry and the team responded immediately, and we had an almost new scooter delivered within an hour. The service was brilliant very easy to place the order kept up to date with everything I did the day before arrival so I knew it would be at the hotel once I got there the only issue was I don’t think the hotel had it on charge so the battery was very up and down and left me a bit panicked that I would be stranded and it wasn’t because I had it to high as people were walking a lot faster than I was driving so my only issue was the battery on the scooter everything else was amazing I think a big place like London there should be signs on cafes and other places where they welcome electric wheelchair users and scooter users free charging if you buy a coffee as we would of been quiet happy to of done that but the one place we asked we were refused so didn’t feel I could ask anywhere else other than that amazing service will definitely hire again

The service was incredible - timely delivery of the wheelchair (elevator was not working in our building and they brought the chair up to the 4th floor), the product was easy to use and no issues experienced. The pick up was also timely. I strongly recommend this company; they truly care for their customers!

Was a bit expensive for me , Also they give you this time frame to deliver the scooter from 8 to 5 and never tell when exactly it would arrive or be picked up and if you request a a specific time they charge you more .

London Wheelchair Hire came to our rescue when we urgently needed a chair after a major operation. The wheelchair was delivered within an hour. We originally hired the wheelchair for a week but extended the loan three times without any issues. The communication was excellent and we found the staff very friendly and helpful over the telephone. We highly recommend this company.
