Staff gave me the time to review in store products and were of great help in my decision on what to buy. No undue pressure.

I would highly recommend speaking to Jess

I would highly recommend speaking to Jess at the Morgan Crossing location. He was highly experienced in the knowledge of ingredients in cosmetics and great customer service. He went above and beyond to go out of his way to help me in finding the perfect eyeliner that was best suited for me. Thank you Jess😊.

I am truly disappointed with the admin/payroll for London Drugs

I am truly disappointed with the company when it comes to payroll and T4's. My friends daughter was employed seasonally in 2022. She never received a T4 and when we went in a week ago to ask for it were told she can't access online since she doesn't work there any more but could request it from head office? One it is already past Feb 28th and wasn't ever going to be sent. Two they paid her out her accrued vacation 3 months after her last day and only after we enquired. Three a T4 still hasn't been sent only a paystub showing the vacation pay out dated and paid 3 months late. I will be contacting their head office and the CRA. This is not okay business practices especially from a large corporation.

Stocker

I applied for a job. The store manager reached out and started telling me what the job entailed, that it would be a place where I would be crawling up and down ladders, getting dusty when bringing boxes down from storage. I could tell he was painting a grim picture of what it was like. After talking to him, he sent me an information package to my computer with questions I was supposed to fill out. One of his questions he asked was when I applied for the position at the store or online. I said online. I was told there are no right or wrong answers for the questionairre. I filled out the questionairre and within 2 hours had a call back. When I answered the phone, I was put on hold, with music. No one answered when I picked up the phone so I hung up. I did not hear from him again.
London Drugs is going down hill. Very bad!!

Customer service sucked!!!

Me and my daughter went there this morning to buy some Christmas gifts and we were there for more than an hour, which half of it is just waiting for service at the counter. I used a card that needed the customer service help and a supervisor so I waited there for a while and my daughter who had bought stuff decided to use the self checkout who was ahead of me by 20 minutes was still waiting for a staff to assist her as she wanted to remove one of the items she originally wants to buy but decided not to. Anyways as I was standing waiting for a supervisor to approve my purchases, there was an older lady who was crying and really upset because her car won't start. She asked me if she can go ahead of me and I said yes she can. She asked the customer service staff if he could page over at the intercom and see if someone will be willing to jump-start her car. The customer service staff just looked at her funny and he said sorry but we can't do that. He didn't even console her and say something to make her feel better or just say we will see what we can do, nothing and the supervisor beside him just told him "why don't you call Triple A or something"..but really didn't do anything. I don't have a cable or know how to jump-start a car but if I did, I would help. So the poor lady left the front and started asking random people by the entrance door to help her and luckily one nice guy who came in said yes. As for my daughter who was stuck at the self checkout for a long time, nobody came to help her, so I just told her to leave the self serve booth she's using and go to a different one. I didn't see all the front registers that busy and some staff are just going around doing random stuff and nobody is checking on self check outs if someone needed assistance, and as for customer service staff which is an older guy, where is his compassion? You're in a customer service department, the important thing you do is to help customer as much as you can and don't be rude especially on Christmas season.

super long wait time both on the phone…

super long wait time both on the phone and online to speak to any customer service representative- waited for over 30 mins to ask a simple question about my LDExtra points that I was told no one could help me in the store and I had to call customer service line. Scheduled a call back but no one called me yet. Online chat takes FOREVER to get to a representative to help me.

Extremely long waits

Extremely long wait times. Both from submitting to picking up prescription. I was 20 minutes dropping off prescription and then waited 20 minutes for picking up before I left.. with out my prescription as I was not well and couldn’t wait. There was an elderly man with mobility issues that was having trouble and a mama with a sick baby in the line up along with about 8 others. It was a frustrating experience. So a long wait time to drop of prescription.. came back several hours later to leave with out my much needed drugs.

Way to go Drew!

We were having trouble with our Shaw connection and they could not help us with the problem. I called London Drugs at the Spall/Harvey location in Kelowna and was lucky enough to talk to Drew, the Electronics Manager. He right away knew the problem, that being, we need a new TV. We went in the next day to see Drew a to buy a new one. He really knows his products and we were able to buy exactly what we wanted. He also made sure that we had all the necessary accessories. He also set us up with one of their techs to come and install the new TV and also take away the old one. I know Drew does not like all the attention, but he is really a very welcoming and personable guy.
Drew, at this location is the man you want when you buy a TV or anything else, for that matter.
Thanks again Drew, you are the BEST!!!

Sincerely and Cheers from, Darlene and Don Kilfoyle.

Inconsistent Service from one London Drugs to the Other

A couple months ago I went to the photo lab at London Drugs on Robson. I had selected a bunch of pictures to be developed. When I went to pick them up there seemed to be a lot of inconsistencies with the photos. Some were fuzzy, some were dark, some brighter, the colours were off on some pictures. Now you might say it was my phones camera, but no because the photos were taken at the same time on the same day with the same light. I even copied a couple of the same photo and they were both different when I got them developed. I went back to complain because I had had another issue with them a few weeks before. The manger I think she said her name was Moet? told me that the settings on the photo finisher were off. So the machine that picks up colour, density, etc was off. When I asked her do your lab technicians not check these things before printing someone’s phots off and charging them for bad photos she said no and that it was missed. I felt like the I never really get an apology. She offered to print them off again with the settings in place this time and see offered the old pictures for free which I found kind of insulting. What would I do with dark pictures? I felt like they were treating me like the bad customer.

Previous to this I had taken in a photo which had ripped on the bottom left corner when some condensation got on the frame. I took it in to be reconstructed as it was an old baby picture. The damage was small, but when I went in and asked for an estimate on how much it would cost to fix the damage I was told roughly $60 give it take. This is by the staff who asked the technician on duty. I remember thinking that is too high of a price for one photo with small damage. They tried to give me all sorts of reasons why they thought the cost was justified like the work would take long, etc. I had other old photos in the past that I had reconstructed, so I decided to get a second opinion. When I went over to the London Drugs on Davie St I talked with their photo technician there and he told me he would do it for $20. I was shocked at the huge difference in price from one London Drugs to the next. Are they not the same company? Should their prices not be the same or similar? Yeah I was very disappointed and I feel like whenever I walk into the London Drugs on Robson I’m greeted by unfriendly staff. I would rather go to the Davie location. I did go back and I spoke with the same manager and she told me it’s up to the technician. I think that’s a terrible response. And for those that don’t believe me I kept the receipt from the technician at the Davie location $19.99 plus tax…yes don’t go to the photo lab on Robson St.

Terrible service, one item missing

I bought an office chair and a desk plus I paid the delivery fee, which was not cheap by the way. They only delivered the chair and I have called them a few times to follow up on the desk and they can't give me an answer, they said the courier manager was on his break, so I guess he is on his break the whole day.

I bought an electric bike and could not…

I bought an electric bike and could not put it together. I went back to the store and they took it back to put it together. Then Drew called and said a part was broken. I told him I didn’t break it but had trouble putting it together. Instead of giving me the run around, Drew the Manager/Supervisor of Spall Plaza London Drugs in Kelowna made sure he replaced my bike with one that worked. Josh put it together on a busy day - the Aug 1 holiday.
The service was outstanding. I will never forget the excellent customer service I received. I am certainly going to pass my experience to my friends and family. London Drugs stands by their name: it means quality of service. They’re good people. I’m so excited to ride my bike. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Cathay Gibson

Scam

Sale items are never in stock but used as advertising in their flyers or website to lure people into stores. And forget about customer service, it's not in London Drugs vocabulary.

Market crossing LD

Market crossing LD. But this applies to all LD stores.
If your planning to buy a Fixmestick to fix computer virus/malware problems DO NOT Buy from LD stores. Buy from Amazon or directly from Fixmestick.
I purchased a Fixmestick Gold From my local LD store because my laptop was acting up and FMS offers 45 day guarantee or your money back. Long story short, it did not fix my problem. I contacted FMS by email and they said, just take it back to LD. So I did. But even with FMS 45 day guarantee, LD will not honor it. LD assistant manager laughed in my face when I took it back for a refund and then said NO refunds on software products. Even though FMS offers 45 day guarantee.
So I contacted FMS by email and now FMS is telling me they won't me refund me either because I purchased this from a 3rd party seller(LD) What a joke!
I've be shopping at Market crossing LD ever since they opened. But never will I set foot in that store again or any LD for that matter. Customer service is pathetic.
I now see why Amazon sales are taking over brick and mortar stores. So many people in customer service, shouldn't be there!

Self service checkout- we should get discount

I have used this store multiple times and have decided to never shop there again.

The staff could be better, my pet peeve is “If I wanted to be a checkout person, I would get a job as one”, so why does it need to have 6 staff standing around with only self service being used,

I had my basket around $150 worth of stuff, I stood in line then decided why am I standing in line to do their job, so after 10min I put the stuff back and left.

Coquitlam Centre London Drugs photo manager doesn’t give two flying F’s.

Went to Coquitlam Centre London Drugs to buy a camera I’d confirmed they had in stock on their website. Ask the disinterested clerk where I can find the camera, and he asks me, “how many mm is the lens?”. I say, its a camera not a lens. He looks it up in the computer. Sorry, we don’t have any new ones, only the display model. “Okay, as long as the display model is in good condition, I’ll take it.” Clerk goes over to display model to open the display case, but the key doesn’t work. Gets co-worker to try with his key, then another key. The key system is electronic FOB, and the keys work on every case except the one holding the camera. “Sorry man, we can’t get the camera out for you to sell it.” “Uh, okay - can like a manager help make this happen or what.” “Oh, we can check with him.” 10 minutes later, “Sorry man, he’s on a break and gonna be 20 minutes. We can like call you or something.” I give them my number, expecting to hear back within an hour. 3 hours later, I’ve heard nothing, no follow up, no manager - nothing.

Will go buy the damned camera somewhere, *anywhere* else, because London Drugs doesn’t give a crap about moving $3000 merchandise, and doesn’t know how to open their own locked display cases.

Shameful, unacceptable and pathetic. More like a lazy unmanager of dispassionate, unhelpful, bored clerks.
