Really enjoyed our visit! Amazing views and the whole place seems well kept. A tad pricey but that's all relative.

1 star for the London Eye and not Lastminute
1 star for the London Eye and not Last Minute!
The London Eye is a great deal off money for a view in which you can get free from the Shard itself.. Average Family tickets for the London Eye are Approx £200 for a 30 min viewing.
No Toilets
No Food&Drink
If I could rate this 0 stars I would
If I could rate this 0 stars I would. It wasn't until after our experience that I realised that Last Minute London Eye has about 1/3 of its customers rating it 1 star. DO not waste your money.
The queue is terrible, I don't think anyone should be expected to pay over £200 for a family to wait 2.5 hrs for a 30 minute experience where you cant even see 360° views because they have packed the pods so full. Such a con and tourist trap. Can't get through to them on the phone line to complain and tickets say no refunds in the small print.
Trading standards UK will be hearing from me and I think others should complain to them too. I would be interested to hear if anyone has got their money back, but from the looks of the replies from Last Minute all they do is 'pass the feedback on to the relevant department'. What a load of bull-*.

A drinking session in a brewery.
We first flew on the London Eye over 18 years ago when BA were its operator. This was before we had children and fondly remember it as being a great experience. Fast forward to the 9th of August 2022, two teenage daughters and Lastminute.com the new operator. 4 tickets all booked in advance for the first flight at 11am, what could go wrong? Firstly and Jasmine may be able to answer this one, why does a major London attraction not start until 11am, this is crazy? While we arrived in good time, it was shocking to see a group of what looked like school kids, trying to set up a pop up tent at the entrance to the attraction. No one seemed to have a clue what was going on, there was no sign posting for prepaid tickets and there was a very chaotic feel to the organisation. We directed into a queue in 29 degree heat, which was slow moving. We realized as we got to the front, that this was because everyone was being made to pose for an obligatory blue screen photo, which they attempted to flog you in the shop at the end. I really don't understand the notion of clear greed and profiteering being put ahead of customer safety and well-being. In such temperatures staff should have been looking for ways to reduce queuing and exposure to the sun, but wait a minute, the four kids they had at the front were still struggling to put up a garden tent. I remember there being an audio commentary when BA operated the eye, which is sadly not offered any more. All in all for what we paid and the length of the attraction, this is not value for money. Perhaps Last-minute should stick to their core business which clearly is not running major London attractions.

Not possible to change booking
I wanted to book London Eye/Madame Tussauds, but then by mistake chose only London Eye - definitely my error. But anyway, the agent told me that there is no chance to change respectively to upgrade the booking.
I can't understand that, I was also told no reason why it is not possible.

Awful experience
I wish I could say the two and a half hour wait was worth it… it simply wasn’t. One would expect that a big institution like last minute.com would be able to organise themselves better knowing the demand and capacity based on the prebooked tickets, pre booked time slots and the running time of the eye. But not the long queues and almost 3 hour delays prove their priorities and gross over booking. Don’t care about their money making but they don’t care about individual experiences at all. We missed our dinner reservation and nearly missed our train. I agree with comments below about the multi experience booking being all flawed as that can certainly be a source of additional stress and does feel like a scam.
I certainly have no wish to deal with last minute.com ever again following this awful experience.

The London Eye false promises
The London Eye website offers family tickets by reduced price. But that’s just not true if it falls during "pick/holiday period" (customer support person’s words). There’s no any small print about it.
Frustrating experience!

We bought the multi ticket cruise and London eye and had no problems. The cruise was so good on the customer service front but I have to say that the London eye staff were not very welcoming or friendly. The experience was enjoyable and pods very spacious.

Combined Tickets - its a con
I booked combined river boat cruise and London Eye. I checked availability for The Eye for today BEFORE booking the River Boat. I then go in to book my London Eye slot after paying and ... here's the con .... It gives NO OPTION for a booking today. Bookings only for tomorrow. We'll we're not here tomorrow.

Had combined ticket for Eye and River Cruise. The river cruise was completely spoiled by the tour guide narrator. She spoke too fast, mumbled her words, could barely make out 25% of the commentary. At one point she was crouched on the floor talking to the carpet. Please coach your commentators or at the very least observe them. Wouldn’t go on a cruise with this company ever again. I would also add that anyone with English as their second language would have been hard put to understand anything she said.

Shout out to Tim aka Titan of the Thames!
We combined the river cruise and the London eye. Both were brilliant and really enjoyable.
Tim, our guide on the boat, was absolutely fantastic. Full of fun and enthusiasm. A breath of fresh air when most tours now only offer audio guides.
Not only did Tim deal with the queue of ticketholders before boarding, but proceeded to give a witty but informative tour of London's iconic sights.
Thank you.

Thank you London Eye - great customer service
I received an email from London Eye on the 17th midday ish to tell me that they had taken the difficult decision to close the London Eye today due to Storm Eunice. It was easy to contact them by email to request a reschedule. Thank you London Eye one of all but one companies who have been fantastic in the event of our trip being cancelled in the end due to the storm.
Enjoyable
Bought ticket for London Eye and boat cruise. Enjoyed both and had no hassle with the ticket as other reviews claim. The cruise was especially interesting and entertaining thanks to the guide, Chris (many thanks to her!)
