Thanks for your feedback. As a startup business it is important that our customers talk to us and share ideas. When we initially designed our socks, we considered all the structural variations and weights of cotton and we opted for a weight that complimented the knitting machines. London Sox uses the highest quality knitting machines (200 needles) in comparison to the majority of high streets who use a maximum of 138 needles these socks can feel and appear thicker but we did not feel this was better. With socks knitted using a 200 needle machine you get a finer, softer sock but far stronger meaning you won’t get holes or over stretching and will ultimately last longer. If you prefer a thicker sock, please try our retro collection - these have a higher gauge of cotton.
