Dear A J W,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. At London Taekwondo Warriors, we uphold the highest standards of martial arts instruction, rooted in the traditional values and virtues of Taekwondo—respect, integrity, perseverance, and self-control.
We are proud of our inclusive and diverse team of professionals who are all fully qualified, DBS-checked, and trained in safeguarding and first aid. Each class is led or overseen by Kukkiwon-certified instructors with extensive experience, and we follow a rigorous, structured curriculum that is reviewed regularly to ensure consistency, engagement, and excellence.
Your concern about the involvement of parents or others in sessions requires clarification: any individuals who assist during classes are not arbitrarily assigned. They are either qualified assistant instructors or long-standing black belts with over a decade of experience and the necessary certifications to support delivery under the supervision of lead instructors. This approach is pedagogically aligned with the leadership development philosophy embedded within martial arts instruction—where advanced students are gradually entrusted with responsibilities to build their confidence, leadership qualities, and communication skills in real time. These sessions are always directly supervised by senior instructors.
Regarding your comments on class focus, equipment, or grading frequency—these claims appear speculative. We are transparent with all parents and students about costs, grading timelines, and equipment needs, all of which align with Kukkiwon standards and long-term student development goals. No concerns of this nature have been raised via our normal feedback channels.
This leads us to ask respectfully: have you or your child attended our sessions recently? If so, we invite you to reach out privately with your name and your child’s name so we can investigate this further and engage with your feedback meaningfully. We pride ourselves on open communication and have always resolved any issues directly with students and families through honest, constructive dialogue—not anonymous online claims.
We would appreciate an opportunity to understand your concerns more fully, should they be genuine. Otherwise, we are concerned that this review may be disingenuous or misrepresentative of the experience at LTW, particularly given our strong community rapport and the consistent praise we receive both privately and publicly.
Thank you again for your comments.
Kind regards,
LTW
