Yemeni Sidr Honey is one of the finest and rarest honeys in the world. Its distinctive taste, health promoting nutritious values and limited harvesting gives it this reputation. But what makes our honey so special? Our honey is sourced from the biblical Lote Tree, or the ‘Tree of Life’ otherwise known as the Ziziphus spina christiplant. Grown in the desert valleys of Tihamah, our honey is harvested only twice a year – once during the peak of the summer heat and once more during the cooler winds of autumn. Thus, throughout the harvests we are able to appreciate the variances in taste and texture. The Sidr tree spreads its branches across vast valleys from which the aroma easily attracts the bees that look forward to the rich feast served in the flower caps of these trees. The nectar produced inside the flowers is extremely potent and full of nutritional values which contribute to the medicinal qualities of the honey. It is also rich with antimicrobial properties which come from non-peroxide activity. In Yemen, the method of beekeeping has always been a traditional one with a lot of diligence and craft often passed from one generation to the next. No chemicals or drugs allowed. No machinery used at all. All are done using simple tools, a little smoke and glistening machetes. The result? Simple. Rich and tasty honey – poured, unheated and raw, into containers, thus preserving its vital live enzymatic constituents. And you, our happy customers.

Third Purchase

This is my third purchase and I love it. The quality of Sidr honey is excellent, I like jelly with pollen, it was my medicine when I fell ill last year, so I bought the bigger jar this time.
Honey jar is nice and packaging is neat, I like the funny note at delivery box as well. I had no issues with my 3 orders that were delivered in excellent shape and on time. Glad to have such a good quality product. Thanks.

Lote and co

Lote and co, do not contact you if you send a message or an email. I placed two orders, one for a friend they received their order which was incorrect, however, I still haven't received my order which was worth just under £200. Order at your peril. I'm so disgusted with the service.
If you want Sidr honey, you're better of going to etsy. Seriously I'm so disappointed, I've advised everyone I know not to order from Lote and co.

Very tasty honey I use to purchase it from Harrods all winter season. I wanted to try from their official website it’s cheaper then Harrods and also I got a next day delivery plus an upgrade which is amazing. Thank you Omar

Lovely honey and products of the greatest standard. Beautifully packaged and excellent service.
Black seed honey - after buying for myself, I bought for a gift for a friend due to the healing properties of this honey.
It has been gratefully received and enjoyed.
