I was made to feel very welcome at Lots Road Auctions. As, I had been recommended to sell a work of art here by a member of my family, I had hoped for good things. The sale of the art went really well.
The costing for the art during the auction was very satisfactory. Costing the money to me after the auction, it went wrong due to a mistake. Then, the costing was corrected.

Shocking Leadership team!
Still trying to sort the mis-selling/damage by Lots Rd post sale. Whereby they used my Print (no protection) as a mat to stack cups and other porcelain items on, apparently to protect the table's varnish!
Hopefully the two Directors will get their heads together and offer a solution in 2026!
Reply - obstructive, rather - wanting me to travel to your office, hostile environment, costs in time and money.
Then sending me links and TELLING me I had to review within a week, during Christmas.

Buyer beware. This company put up for auction a Led Zeppelin album with four signatures. I asked whether these were authenticated. No answer. I asked again. No answer. After enquires with experts I was told that the signatures were certainly fake. I informed Lots Road of this. No answer. The LP remained for sale. What a scam.

I contacted them to determine if an item was still available, I recieved a prompt email back advising that it was and what they would sell it to me for. I responded and said I would attend the same day to view, I recieved another email acknowledging this; I arrived as promised to be told they had sold the item to someone else. They did say sorry for your wasted journey but generally completely disregarding of my journey and effort made to visit and intent to purchase.
Extremely disappointed, aggravated by customer experience both email and in person was by the head of customer experience! Wasted the best part of a day , will not returning to this auction house... Buyer beware I should have been aware.
I have bought a number of items from lots road over the years 2023 - present ( cushions/ lampshades) lots of🤣🤣
I can say from my heart that the entire team is amazing.
Customer service and interpersonal skills of all the staff is outstanding.
Whilst they are very professional , the individuals within the team make the whole experience a joy.
They are problem solvers , and no issue is insurmountable.
Eli was my standout man, super helpful and humorous. Frey and the after team were great too.
I can’t recommend Lots road enough. I now live abroad, but my go to auctions will always be Lots Road.🙌🏾
The wonderful Steve was very helpful and charming. He was a bit flirty with my wife but she seemed to love it so no complaints. Would definitely recommend Lots Road as my favourite auction.

Lots Road Auction took great care of my sculpture and the auction was a success.
This was greatly assisted by the kind attention of Maureece who was my personal contact throughout, organised collection and kept me well informed.
I was definitely pleased with the experience and am happy to recommend the professional attitude and competence of Lots Road Auction.

I've collected on behalf of a customer from Doncaster on numerous occasions from their old site on Lots Rd of which I was to say the least not a fan of. That was over 2 yrs ago. I've recently done 2 collections from them (full Luton van load) and I don't know what's gone off but the staff were very friendly and really helpful regarding the collection. A big shout out for Arthur who was immensely helpful with the loading. Keep it up.

They have very very poor internet access, so if you can't attend and rely on bidder via the internet i wouldn't waste your time as you'll never log on

I have been both a buyer and a seller at Lots Road. As a seller, the team there, Maureece in particular, require detailed substantiation that each and every item is what the seller says it is. In other words, if I say it is a B&B Italia sofa they want proof of that and also evidence of fire certification. Nothing goes into a sale unless all the paperwork is in place. As a buyer, this gives everyone comfort. On collection, the team there, David in particular, are efficient, organised and really know what they are doing.

I have worked with Lots Road for many years (5yrs + ) and the whole team are a pleasure to work with. Maureece has always been so helpful and made sure the items were valued to sell (most of the time sold for a lot more!). Would highly recommend!

I have never sold anything in an auction before but follow Lots Road on IG so seemed like a good place to start. Their communication was clear, even with a recommendation for a company to move my item. I felt that they were following the progress with the item, checking details etc. Great interaction with Maureece Taylor.
