Friendly, personable and informative.

Discovered Lovemyev.com through a Guardian article. Very clear, simple and informative website guided me to the best tariff for my new EV. Still had questions so I called and spoke with a real person who knew what she was talking about. She was able to answer my questions and guide me further. I love that they started this website service. Lots of potential. I wish them well.

Great site, helpfull staff

Used Love my EV to get some EV tarif quotes. Site was easy to use. I rang the help line with a few questions, the call was answered immediately and not by a machine. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Good but needs improvement

I found about this site via email.
One of the main things that this website offers is a tool to compare tariffs. It gives you a total budget for a year but as we all know the devil is hidden in the details. I would prefer to see the comparison in an excel-like table format and have a point system so that one or more providers could be selected according to my criteria, and I could manipulate the choices I made to see my best provider(s).

Thanks for your feedback, Murat.

Our EV tariff calculator aims to take the strain of working through the details to see which EV tariff best suits your car charging patterns and how you use energy in your home through the day.

We're working on making our results more interactive. Letting you see the effect of changing your mileage or home patterns, and giving you further information on the carbon content for each supplier to make a comparison.

Helpful articles and comparison tools

Really useful articles about “Going electric” and comparisons about electric tariffs have helped me to take the plunge and order a VW ID 3. I didn’t realise that some companies charge less to charge at night so as it was time to switch energy providers (I always switch every year) I made sure I switched to one that would benefit me once my new car arrives.

Very honest about the charging options

I read the article in the Guardian and asked Laura for advice on the best rates to charge our Renault Zoe. We are lucky to have a legacy Economy 7 system, and Laura was very candid about our rate through EDF - very cheap at night, but very expensive in the day - when we try not to use much electricity, for obvious reasons. Laura gave great advice, agreeing that it would be difficult to beat our night rate (we used to get it for free through Ebico, but that's a thing of the past now). Laura also suggested getting Solar panels, which we have been thinking about. All-in-all, some very welcome insights.

Company car user

Like many I guess, my company’s going EV from 2021 for company cars, useful to get an independent look at what it will cost me and what options are out there (not that I don’t trust our fleet dept to tell the unvarnished truth obviously). Easy to use and also reflects impact on home use Electricty.

So simple too use

So simple too use. And looks like I may have found my perfect EV and saved money on my electricity bill at the same time. A win win!
