Really excellent
Really excellent, highly professional, service from Becky, Honor, Alina, and their very able colleagues. My case was handled efficiently and transparently and actually could hardly have gone more smoothly, even with a tight Stamp Duty Holiday deadline looming. Lowden's were recommended to me by a trusted friend. I can now say that was a good recommendation - and I'm happy to pass it on to anyone looking for a reliable, straightforward, communicative mortgage broker, because it really does make buying a house a lot easier.

Should have given zero star if it was…
Should have given zero star if it was possible. The representative Abbie Masoro started of very well handling my applications. She was very responsive and ardent since we were working to meet with the stamp duty deadline. Then all of a sudden a mistake was made in the reservation form that was issued by my incompetent developers. Good thing is Abbie spotted the mistake in the form and issued a correction. However this mistake was made on my Help to buy application, which i spotted and immediately asked for a correction and subsequently on the mortgage offer. It's quite confusing how anyone would make a mistake twice.
I understand there was so much pressure to meet up with this deadline but the sheer unprofessionalism of the lowdens reps not acknowledging their mistakes is the reason I'm writing this bad review. This has cost me the stamp duty fees even when I was on track initially to meet up with this deadline.
I'm highly disappointed in their service and will not be recommending them to anyone.

I was very sad to see this review, we want our clients to have the best experience possible and do everything we can to get their mortgage offer issued as quickly as possible.
We rely on the address that is written on the reservation form, this address must match the mortgage offer and the help to buy application.
We are not responsible if your builder gives you an incorrect address, we rely on being given accurate information.
I understand that the difference in the address was not spotted until the CML was issued, which clearly caused a delay.
As soon as it was apparent that we had been given the incorrect address we asked your lender to change the address, which I agree they were slow to do. The lender actually made a mistake in their first attempt to change the address, which then had to be amended again.
At all times we chased the lender to speed up the mortgage offer and I can see we were in touch with them daily.
The lender is aware that this completion was due for the end of June and as you now have a correct offer, I still believe you can complete in June, as we have over a week before the stamp duty deadline.
I have contacted you by phone to offer to try and help in any way that I can and even assist your solicitor with obtaining the funds from the lender. This offer remains open.
Once again I am sorry that you are unhappy with our service, please feel free to get in touch.

Becky who helped secure my mortgage was SO helpful with the process and really explained things so I was fully across the whole process. This is the second time I have used Lowdens and I can’t recommend enough! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I cannot rate Lowdens highly enough, from the initial call from Bill which was on a Sunday to then continuous help from Abbie & Honor, they have all been brilliant and even got us a cheaper rate than we found ourselves.
