I would advise anyone considering work through LTF to proceed carefully and ensure all payment arrangements are clearly confirmed in writing beforehand.
I completed a trial day arranged by Richard, in good faith and made it clear that I wished to be paid via PAYE. Despite this, the payment was later processed under an umbrella company instead.
When I raised the issue, I was informed that a minimum of two weeks under umbrella was compulsory. This requirement had not been mentioned or made clear at any point before I accepted the work.
Separately, during our discussions Richard made remarks that diminished my experience and work ethic, suggesting that 'everyone works hard' and that there were already many experienced people working in the school. The comment felt dismissive and unnecessary.
Most concerning, however, is that payment for the trial day itself has still not been received. I was told that the transfer had been made, yet the umbrella company has confirmed that they have not received any funds.
Despite raising this multiple times and attempting to resolve the matter directly, the situation remains unresolved.
Being paid for work already completed should not require repeated follow-ups. The lack of transparency around payment arrangements and the ongoing delay in receiving payment has been extremely disappointing and has now required formal escalation.

I’m really disappointed with the company. You send people out to do work for schools, yet somehow forget to pay them on time. That’s simply unacceptable and unprofessional. I definitely wouldn’t recommend your services.
It's a real shame you have to lie about this 7 day trial payment, that's a lie.

You also need to work on communication — responding with “oh dear” and then making excuses about payroll being closed, only for the payment to go through the very next day, doesn’t inspire confidence. I had to chase and prompt you, ask you if we're slow, which shouldn’t be necessary.

And just as a reminder — your reputation for late payments is already known among TAs. Word gets around.

I would recommend LTF. Sam Parr has helped me immensely from making the intitial registration process easy to answering any queries I have quickley.

My experience with LTF was great from the start when I first came in contact with Reuben who made the first steps of my process easy and made me feel at ease. I also had the pleasure of dealing with Henri who got me in contact with the school I now have a position at. Henri just like Reuben was always available to contact whether this be via text , phone call or email. If the rest of the LTF agency are as good as these two I would highly recommend.

0 work. Just sign you up after a long lengthy process. Waste of my referees time signing up to this company then end up getting 0 work, 0 calls. Been months now. They can't even be bothered. Worst agency for Teachers & support staff in Birmingham & west Midlands.

They just bait & hook you in on job sites with jobs that never existed in the first place.

Avoid at all costs.

Finding it increasingly difficult to recruit good calibre recruits for School, in April 2023, we used agencies to assist for the first time, including LTF.

Their approach from the start was different – they came out and met with us to find out about the School and what we are looking for in staff. This has not been our experience with the majority of agencies, who just seem to be interested in getting as many people through the door as possible.
