Shoddy shirt, even more shoddy customer support.

I have purchased perhaps 20 shirts from Luca Faloni over the past couple of years. I have not yet worn six of those bought. A recently purchased oxford shirt in navy has been worn twice and washed twice. Whilst ironing it I noticed that the sewn seam near the left cuff has unravelled over about 40mm. Likewise along a main body seam near the waist. Both are conspicuous. Luca Faloni have twice refused to refund or issue a replacement. They have offered a ‘free repair’. Then a ‘free repair with a free gift’. I do not want a repair, nor an unknown free gift. I further consider it totally unacceptable on an item of this price point that it starts to self destruct after two gentle shirt wash cycles. You wouldn’t get that on an M&S shirt, nor would you have to send 3 emails to be told we are not interested.
Great marketing/promotional skills LF.
I have spent over £3,000 with you. I shall not be bothering you with my business again.
I don’t readily or often write reviews, good or bad, but people should be aware of the frankly shoddy treatment (and in this case shoddy quality) that you can expect. I wouldn’t bother them with your business.

Varying quality between products

Varying quality between products. I have bought several products from Luca Faloni including several Silk-Cotton Amalfi Long Sleeve Polo Shirts and the design is very good, but for this particular product the durability is poor. This is a dry cleaning only product and after dry cleaning once, the shirt already starts to look very different and change shape. This is not at all what is expected at this price point.

Bought clothing for over 6000€ from…

EDIT AFTER Luca Falonis response:
Your support dismissed my claims that most garments had shrunk and refused to be of any help. So no your customer service has been of no help and quite arrogant in my opinion. The one sweater that had actually broken and not shrunk was the only garment that you offered to fix. That sweater was sent back to you months ago with the shipping label YOU provided and I have still not heard anything back or gotten the sweater in return, which is ridiculous honestly at this point. If this is not resolved within 7 days I'll be contacting VISA and attaching the email conversation I've had with your team to ask them to do a full chargeback on the purchase I made with that sweater which was like 4000€ becuse this is tragic at this point and shows how you treat your customers paying a lot for your products.

Bought clothing for over 6000€ from Luca Faloni. Contact them as several pieces of clothing have shrunk and one has broken below the zipper. I get a standard response that if the garment is not handled in a correct manner it may shrink. Some garments are 10 months old and other only 2 years. To give that standard response to a customer that has many other brands of cashmere garments and have had them for over 20 years without issue is a big joke. To the Swedish Luca Faloni owner, some of the yarn used in some products seems to be of subpar quality and the customer service is a huge letdown. Id say that around 30% of garments have shrunk and the rest are fine so far and they have ALL been handled and washed in the same manner, thus proving that subpar yarn had been used in some of your products. I´ll most likely never shop from you again unless the situation is rectified. The only thing you offered to rectify was the broken half zip, but honesly that´s not enough at this point.

The best quality clothing made of linen.

I searched for some items from Lana on the internet and accidentally came across this website. I ordered a few things, and when they arrived and I tried them, I wasn’t just impressed – I was fascinated. Very good products

Very good products. You may think it’s quiet expensive, but actually the quality, the fit, the sizing,… everything is perfect. I ordered 3 Linen products, and they were all 100% Linen, not « coton-Linen » like in the cheap brands. Quality has its price. I strongly recommend.

Good products, returns process did not work for me

Two items ordered recently did not fit.

Followed returns process but told products we return did not arrive and we do not know why. We have receipt from post office evidencing return, which we provided to the customer care team.

We asked the team if they could send replacement items with the right size. They answered that they could not do that but offered a 25% discount on replacement items

This was disappointing, especially since i own 6 other items, all bought this year and was fast becoming a loyal customer. Not a deal breaker, but i just expected better from such a high end retailer.

Quality of items and fit is great.
