I bought LSV Sigma Gold-Plated Pure Copper bananas. The bananas seem to be very well made and I was able to crimp them without any problems. I tried the banana with a magnet and it attracts it (that is not good), but I assume that is because of the spring system in it, which is probably metal. But what worries me is that during crimping on one banana I accidentally managed to not center the banana properly and at the end ended up with just small extra pieces of pressed copper on a side (like a leaf thin) that I easily removed. But when I went to check if that part was magnetized, it stuck to the magnet also. That is strange to me considering that the bananas are claimed to be made of pure copper with gold plating. As for the sound in first 3 days it changed in favor of a cleaner vocals compare with an unterminated wire, but it lost the rawness of the sound on some instruments and especially on the piano. Since the bananas are fresh installed I hope they need a certain burn-in period so that things will positively fall into place. Communication with the seller was excellent and shipping was fast.
