If you're doubting to get this tool, just get it. It makes super easy to use gantt charts and timelines, it's easy to change the template and edit it right in PowerPoint. In consulting where our timelines change frequently, it is very easy to keep our clients up-to-date on project progress and illustrate dependencies.

Could have been 5 stars but ...
Every time I open Powerpoint, I had to enter the license in order for the features to be available. Export function should retain configuration of each task/milestone (shape and color at a minimum) so when Uploaded again, there are less cosmetic changes need to be made. I also keep hitting some Upload issues where some rows can't be ported over. Providing reasons why would help.
Overall, though your app has made my life better. This app has reduced my work time by 50%. I believe I can get 75% time reduction if the Upload function is improved.

With regards to the inconveniences that you have pointed out, both are anomalies and can be caused by a faulty installation:

• Having to enter your activation key whenever opening PowerPoint – this can be caused by either a corrupt license file or by security restrictions placed on your account. To remedy the issue, please follow the steps described in the support article below:

• Not being able to port rows when importing – since you haven’t mentioned what is the software from which you try to import, I cannot pinpoint the exact cause of this issue. OfficeTimeline is essential tool for PowerPoint

OfficeTimeline is an essential tool for creating Gantt Charts in PowerPoint. I have utilized OfficeTimeline in various enterprises for different projects and presentations, and the software's adaptability and MS Project integration has helped me save countless hours that would otherwise be spent manipulating spreadsheets or PowerPoint tables. Eddy and his team have undoubtedly done an excellent job with this software!

It would be great to have an option to center the gantt chart on the slide. I always have to center everything after any adjustments are made.

Timeline works great

Timeline works great. It's a fairly seamless solution for building and managing timelines for our organization.

This is actually the third time I've purchased it for my organization, and every time other people see it at work, and they want a license, as well.

The only issue I have run into is that it keeps losing the current license, meaning I need to look up the license and re-enter it to use Timeline.

Efficient Way to Create and Update Project Timelines

The biggest advantage of this add-on is its ability to connect timelines outlined from either MS Excel or MS Office and translate them into a visual timeline generated into MS PowerPoint. Therefore, any changes made into the MS Excel / MS Project timelines can be easily reflected into the visual PowerPoint timeline within the click of a button (the ‘Refresh Data’ button). This program has made it easy for me to present and communicate changing timelines quickly and efficiently. The program also allows a variety of visual customizations for timelines generated on PowerPoint. This program has been very beneficial for me as a project manager.
