I received from your representative in Italy, Luci di Via, and, in particular, from its Chief Technical Officer, Manuel Contena. Thank you.
My problem started with a salinity probe failure while away from port. I contacted Luci di Via and Manuel, who diagnosed the problem with the probe, walked me through a workaround to keep making water and identified my old (A34) motherboard as an obstacle to repair. He then ordered a new (A40) board and salinity probe to be delivered to my home marina.
Once I arrived back on the boat and was ready to replace the board, Manuel walked me through the process. When I ran into problems - blown fuse, 'confused' operation and other issues - Manuel solicited photos of the wiring, made observations and provided me with wiring diagrams, system protocols and advice on wiring. He answered my, sometimes desperate, questions promptly, positively and thoroughly. Often times after normal working hours or on the weekend.
In the end, we got the job done together and our NP 400 MK II is happily making water again in Sicily.
