Very friendly service and awesome support!

Finally decided to use up a discount code I got from a warranty claim after waiting a month to get stock to be replenished to no avail. I then contacted support to help and Brian and Kevin stepped up with sourcing my preferred main replacement helmet (emerald green ebike version on of the Ultra).

I ended up buying all accessories for the ultra, big net and cap and 2x of the normal ultra mop for the family so we can make use of the team sync which works so great for group riding.

Now it is a waiting game for the delivery of the order. However the online order process on Lumos.com is excellent I must say.

This review has not been paid for or influenced in any shape or form other than Lumos eagerness for a positive outcome which in turn has motivated me to give them a shout which is how customer service should be and not the normal buying of positive reviews.

Packages very well and everything worked perfectly including the Apple Watch app.

I got in touch with what I thought was a problem with my bike light. It turns out it was operator error (i.e. me!) but I got loads of help via a series of emails.

The features are what I wanted plus MIPS which most helmets do not have. Easy installation of remote device. Support is responsive and extremely polite.

Love my Lumos helmet and their customer service absolutely rocks!! I am happy to support a company that, in turn, supports their products and customers!

Bit heavy , and it had be nice if the front light could be control separately from the back lights … the strap could be a little more adjustable also ..for the price it could had been a better helmet …other than that nice helmet

I bought a Lumos ultra and was very excited about it. It seemed like a good quality helmet, but very quickly the remote became unreliable. I found myself not being able to rely on the lights at all since they only worked randomly. Having reliable indicators is a key feature and the main reason for spending so much more money compared to other helmets.

I have now contacted customer support three times without any response. The helmet is not fit for purpose and I will now need to pursue a refund through my credit card company. I really just want to return it at this point, but I’m past the return window so need to ask for support.

If you’re thinking about getting a helmet from them, just keep in mind that you’ll be on your own if something goes wrong. Since it’s an electric product, it is not unrealistic to expect that you might need support. Since they don’t respond, their warranty is essentially meaningless.

If the helmet worked and they provided good service I’d give it a great rating, but sadly that isn’t the reality.

Great product, 5 star ⭐️ customer service which is very rare these days.

Fabulous helmets to keep us safe in traffic and in the dark. love mine. On my fourth one. Crashed hard in one and hit my head but was not concussed or brain-injured so win-win.

I purchased the Lumos Ultra Ebike helmet w/ mips in green (which matches my bike) and couldn't be happier about it. I have a big head, so I worried about the sizing, but as soon as I put it on, it immediately felt perfect. The design, magnetic clasp, visor, and light integration with the remote are outstanding. My only tiny complaint, the ability to remove the visor when it's not needed. Other than that, great purchase!!

Long time Lumos customer but had an issue with a couple of my Firefly's. Reached out to customer service and they got back to my right away. After a couple questions they were able to determine that a replacement was in order which shipped promptly. Great product and great customer service. Well worth the money!

The helmet and light are great at keeping me noticed on the road. The help from the staff, when things went awry on the app, was rapid and vey appropriate.

Well made product, works great and terrific customer support, had a light that was not lasting as long as advertised, they answering my email in 2 days and had a new one coming free of charged the next day. New one worked perfectly. Love the product, own their helmet and 2 fireflys, really can be seen after dark, get plenty of comments

My request was executed in very fast time .

Recently I had an issue with my helmet. After some swift trouble shooting tasks, my helmet did not respond. Lumos provided excellent customer service and provided me a replacement that exceeded my expectations! I am impressed and very happy!
