A bit of a mixed evening….we booked the 7pm time and that was changed after 5pm by email to a later 8.30pm start. We understand sometimes things are out of anyone’s control, but it was a pity. Our seats (silver)were right at the back and close to an aisle which seemed to be in continual use throughout the evening…people getting up to use the bathroom, staff back and forth (in noisy flip flops carrying cans of kopperberg cider which was not a good look), people arriving for the later start to find it had already begun, door opening to allow smoke in from people outside. Main lighting was not dimmed until well after the music started, so any candlelit ‘Luminos’ atmosphere wasn’t really there. The music however was lovely so credit to the string quartet.

Our first lumos experience .
Disappointing.
Session was brought forward by 30mins which was advertised by email that went to spam. We didn’t have our expected ( gold seated area - more costly ) seats.
The session was 3 stringed instruments. Mostly enjoyable. Not candle lit .
Somewhat mediocre and definitely not worth the amount we paid.
Sorry to be so negative but not a great event.

The already beautiful setting of Pershore Abbey was further enhanced by the candles and the evening was made great by excellent music played by talented musicians. A wonderful experience.
Really enjoyed the show.! The musicians were fantastic and music selections were great. We appreciated the intimate environment/venue. Our only critique is that it would have been nicer for another person to emcee/narrate the music selections during the show instead of one of the musicians grabbing a microphone in-between every song. It would make the show a bit more polished and sophisticated.
I experienced my first Lumos magic in Grand Rapids. I was so excited to see the concert scheduled in Glenview, Illinois. The music experience was all about Queen and Elton John. Check in was a piece of cake. The staff escorted me to my seat. The location was 7 minutes from my home and parking was plenty. The three musicians were amazing. Can’t wait for a return visit to experience more magic!
Abba by Candlelight at St Mary’s in Stourbridge. What a stunning evening. The set was absolutely beautiful with hundreds of gorgeous glowing candles. The 2 violinists and cellist were just wonderful. An absolutely glorious, intimate and actually quite moving evening of music. Stunning location we know well here in Stourbridge. The staff were lovely and the quality of the whole evening was just fantastic.
A quite magical evening, beautiful music and a perfect setting, will do more venues , would highly recommend it
The music was really good, as was the scenario and atmosphere.
The only problem in my view was the steep price of the drinks inside. £19 for 2 small glasses of rosé is abusive in my view…
Would go for another show…definitely won’t buy a drink whilst in there…
Having enjoyed previous candlelight
We booked tickets for a 7pm performance but arrived to be told by the warden (no one from the organizer was there) there was a logistics delay,! Because of this a decision had been taken to combine the 7pm & 9pm concerts with a start time of 8.30pm. Unfortunately we could not stay for this as we had other plans. Also surely combining events will have resulted in over crowding and spoiled the experience.
Not sure that I will consider one of these again.

We enjoyed the Lumos performance of Coldplay songs. It was early evening so didn't really feel the effect of the Candlelight, but it was still atmospheric. Very talented musicians- 2x Celloist & 1x Violinist. It was good to hear where they had trained and a bit more about the performers. One negative- drink prices in the mobile bar. £9.50 for a small glass of wine!! Good to support these events and classical musicians. All staff friendly and attentive.
Might have included a few different songs, everything they did was really good. Would have liked to hear Your Song. Clearly good musicians and an excellent performance. Very convenient location for us. Like the church venue.
All of the musicians were awesome! They played Queen and Elton John, my favorite was Bohemian Rhapsody. The violinist made the violin speak to you!
My only suggestion would be, to do a better job of covering the windows. Having gone to an earlier show, the relaxing atmosphere would have been much better if it was truly only the candle light.
First time seeing Lumos and my girlfriend and I were so amazed. The performers we so talented and played songs of Queen and Elton John. Wanted more!!! Highly recommend quite unique ❤️
Having enjoyed previous candlelight concerts (Queen in Bury St. Edmunds; Bowie in Rochester) we were excited to find an event much closer to home.
We booked tickets for a 7pm performance but arrived to be told that the artists had apparently been delayed. Because of this a decision had been taken to combine the 7pm & 9pm concerts with a start time of 8.30pm. Unfortunately we could not stay for this as we had booked to go out for dinner. And no ticket refunds!
Not sure that I will consider one of these again.

Having previously posted my dissatisfaction over our experience, in terms of a heavily delayed performance on Friday 31st July ,(that we could not stay for), I am now revising my previous post. Having written and complained Friday night, I got a very pleasant email explanation on Sunday with a committment to update today. As the promised update has arrived. I'll withhold upgrading to 5*'s until I get the promised refund, but will offer plaudits to the Customer Service team..WhilstI didnt get to see the performance, thus far the Customer Service & responsiveness has outweighed many of the bigger ticketing companies. We may well give it another try at some point.

Worse experience , no where to park and forced to miss show . Emailed Lumos saying there was no where to park when the venue had shows consistently at 2 hour clips since 12pm . No support , use candlelight instead , deleted app

A very pleasant concert. We listened to Sinatra music..a very talented trio. My only complaint is that Lumos staff should've enforced the no recording policy..all phones should have been turned off. It was very distracting to see all the cell phones lit up during the concert.
