Being a neanderthal with 'simple' programs and apps, I finally got installed and logged in. It is now only Day 2 for me but I so far it is good. I like the bite size segments which make it very do... See more

Had a good experience working with Luvly; however, I was doing a lot of traveling and couldn’t really take as much advantage of it as I wanted. I didn’t realize that I was signed up for a monthly subscription and when I contacted Luvly they immediately resolved my issue. Had an overall good experience.

I would describe my skin as fairly fuss-free and quite healthy in general. I gave Luvly a try because I was curious to learn more about face yoga and keen to understand how movement (as compared to products) could improve the quality of my skin. I enjoyed the daily experience of doing face yoga, I think the videos were informative, just the right duration, and there were a good diversity of instructor faces. My improvements were quite modest compared to other reviewers, but that could be because I do not have major challenges with my facial skin. I was hoping to clear some redness and improve radiance, both of which were achieved. I noticed the most difference when I slacked off and did not do face yoga for 3-4 days. I would have loved to continue the app but it is too expensive in the long-term.
As other reviewers have mentioned, I too had a confusing time with the sign up and subscription process. My second month subscription was x3 of my first month and I was not aware that I had opted-in when I paid for the first month. There is no option during sign up to cancel auto-renew, or at least there was not for me as I always opt-out of auto-renew regardless of app. I was truly shocked when I saw the second month subscription on my bill. Thankfully, the Support team was helpful and understanding. They reduced the charge to the same amount as the first month and also understood that I would have to cancel my subscription beyond the second month. There was no hard selling. I would recommend others to give Luvly a try for a month at the least, as well as read the email they send you after purchase very closely as the subscription amounts can change and that information can help you make decisions early.

Love the app, the exercises are great and easy to follow with a manageable time each day. It’s a shame the renewal costs are so high 😞

The application is really well made. The exercices are easy to understand and the duration allow to integrate any daily routine. I had an issue with my subscription that was quickly résolve with a free extension.

Edit:
Warning!!! Dangerous app!!!
I subscribed to a trial in March 2024 and cancelled the following day via Google Play. I have confirmation that the cancellation was completed.
As any reasonable user would, I assumed the subscription had been fully terminated. Instead, I later discovered charges totaling approximately $750 under the descriptor FAST-LUVLY-CARE — despite having cancelled.
Importantly, I did not use the application at all during this period.
Even more concerning, I did not receive any invoices or billing notifications for these charges. In any standard subscription service, monthly receipts are expected. Their absence only adds to the lack of transparency.
Google explicitly confirmed that these were not Google Play charges, but external card charges — meaning the cancellation I relied on had no effect.
I never knowingly agreed to any separate external billing arrangement.
Notably, the company issued a partial refund (approximately one-third of the amount) shortly after I raised the issue. If the charges were valid, why issue such a refund so quickly?!
During my correspondence with the company, their explanation changed multiple times, and they ultimately refused to refund the remaining amount.
There are thousands of similar complaints across Trustpilot and other consumer platforms describing nearly identical experiences. At this scale, it is very difficult to view this as coincidental!!
As a UK-based company, this raises serious concerns regarding compliance with consumer protection standards around subscription transparency and cancellation.
This case is currently under investigation by my bank and has been escalated to regulatory bodies including CMA, FTC, and ECC-Net.
I have full documentation supporting my case.

Response to Luvly: I Have no doubt you "take issues related to billing very seriously"... As evidence, there are thousands of negative reviews describing the exact same issue as mine — making it very difficult to view this as coincidental, and instead indicating a deliberate and recurring pattern in how your billing is structured.
How do you explain the large number of similar complaints across multiple consumer platforms, all describing nearly identical experiences?
I never knowingly entered into any separate website-based subscription, and from a user perspective, this appeared to be a single subscription managed via the app/Google Play.
Based on your response, it appears that you are choosing to escalate this dispute rather than address the underlying issue.
I have no doubt that regulators, your payment processor, and consumer protection authorities will be able to clearly assess this situation.

I like navigation of movements, it is simple to understand. Calming voice and gentle music in background, encouraging words — it makes me feel relaxed even during hrad days. I love to see progress of my own results in the gallery. It is helpful to see the bar of class progress, so I am aware of remaining time of the exercise. I can adjust exercise even to my busy days.

I signed up for a £15 trial, however within a week of doing this my husband was urgently admitted to hospital for a serious operation where he remains to this day. Clearly a subscription wasn’t on my mind, so after it went out I contacted to explain the situation, I haven’t even used the service once. I appealed for them to refund the payment I would re-join when ready. Flat refusal or refund. I don’t deal with greedy companies that pretend to help you with your well being, this has had the opposite effect, with a house down to one income for the foreseeable this payment is 100% more needed by me than them. Wellness company they are not!!!!

A subscribed a second time to the app with a discount, when i tried to log in I encountered issues, a link was sent to me to reset, unfortunately life got in the way and I failed to use the months trial at the reduced fee and was then auto-renewed at full price which I had failed to cancel due to being unable to access the app.
Customer service was very prompt to reply pointing me to the instructions about auto-renew and that there was nothing they could do. I finally accessed the App, cancelled my membership and am £76 light!
Most other 'wellbeing' apps/sites offer a reminder service for subscriptions, I recommend Luvly do the same, especially as when you do, you are then offered a reduced price extension - try that before you get caught.
I take responsibility for my actions, but will not be recommending this site to anyone.
Disappointing.

Subscription trap. Look at the other reviews with bad rating because the positive reviews are fake.

I really enjoyed the exercises, easy to understand and good length. The content is great, the different rates and accounts and offers are a bit confusing. They write you can try fro free but you actually have to pay first and get a refund afterwards if certain conditions are met. However, they did refund as promised when I could show that I used it daily for the whole period. Overall nice experience!

The Luvly app program is very relaxing with the meditative music. I highly recommend playing it with airpods in to get an immersive experience. In addition, the app actually helped me find new products that I adore under their product recommendation section. However I had issues keeping consistent due to my season of life and I couldn't justify the cost so I needed to cancel. Like others I had issues where I thought I took care of it but customer service was excellent in helping me troubleshoot and resolve my problem. I really appreciate that. Thank you! I recommend the app for anyone looking to enhance their daily self care regimen.

I have not tried out Luvly yet to review the effectiveness off the exercises.
But was have trouble setting everything up, eneded up being user error. But customer service responded quickly l, kindly and was very helpful in resolving the issue.

I think the app is really well made, the program is made for improving a routine of self-care and it can be easily adjusted to any routine. For me specifically it ended not being the most useful since I signed up at a phase of a lot of traveling and adjustments and I could not put the decent effort to t make it worth it. Customer support is also quite nice since I forgot to cancel my subscription in time and I got the full refund! So definitely appreciated that!

I started a few weeks ago and I really like this app. The videos are easy to follow and I already feel some results. I had a login issue when I changed my phone and they helped me quickly and efficiently.

I tried Luvly for a little longer than a month and I would've continued to use it if I could afford it. I think it's great! The exercises are not too long, easy to complete and keep up with. But after completing each session, I definitely felt that I used my facial muscles. They were tiring in a good way. :)

I loved the app and the programm from the first moment! The exercises are easy to follow, short and efficient. I saw improvement on my face after only a week and loved it! What I also appreciated very much is that the exercises are very relaxing to use and feel like a meditation in themselves. Warmly recommended!

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FACE YOGA….I signed up for a £15 trial, but they also signed me up for an extra program taking another £39.49, I immediately messaged asking them to return that money and that I didn’t sign up for that program. I haven’t even opened the app as I realise this is a total scam. I have sent multiple emails, messages, contacted via their website but still getting automated responses. Extremely frustrating and I’ve just been stolen from.
Terrible company.

An ad for Luvly Face Yoga came up several times as I was "surfing the net." They offered a free program so I decided to try it out. I applied for the program and sent them my credit card information, that they would use after a trial period. Unfortunately, I did not receive any further information on the program because it went into my spam folder and I never thought to check it. Then I started seeing charges on my credit card bill. I didn't have contact information for the company but finally found their website and corresponded with them about the problem. Several customer service reps reached out to assist me with extraordinary kindness and helpfulness. They helped resolve my issues very graciously. I was very impressed with their quick response and resolution to my problem.
